The breakfast was excellent and always served with a cheerful smile. Although the hotel didn't have a functioning restaurant while we were there it did provide tea/coffee making facilities during the afternoon and filled rolls which we were invited to take.
The location is perfect for walking and all paths are clearly sign posted. The mountain views are superb.

With the discount I had, I really loved staying in the hotel. The room looked way better than in the picture and was modern. The large window with the mountain view gave a special charm. I loved to have a kettle with the amenities. Everything in the room looked new and was clean. The room was very quiet. The breakfast was varied and delicious. I had to leave early in the morning, and the hotel staff prepared me a lunch packet. The location is really good: close to the beautiful old city part with restaurants and to the mountains. On the other hand it is very quiet and just a short drive to Garmisch.

Room sizes were fine and the restaurant was excellent (both breakfast and dinner). Staff throughout the hotel and restaurant were most accommodating. Location was convenient to both Mittenwald and Garmisch area.
The hotel is very cozy and vintage, everything is covered in flowers. Staff is very attentive and helpful. The restaurant was an amazing experience, taste and food styling are exceptional.
