Inzell is beautiful, lovely views, restaurants, cafes and activities to do.
The chiemgau karte is the reason we can back.
We hired bikes, played crazy golf, painted pottery, adventure golf, tyre sliding, indoor & outdoor pools, chair lifts, the buses, trains etc all on the card for free.
We were then able to buy drinks/ snacks/ dinners at all the venues. It was fantastic.
Ban Thai restaurant, Kreinburg, salvatone, vroni & lindl brauer restaurants were all very tasty.
More buses on a Sunday would be better.

A wonderful little town.
A wonderful little town. Picturesque houses and nature around. Eating outside your hotel may be problematic, I only found a Thai restaurant, though it was fine. But the hotels look gorgeous so eating can't really be a problem.

Lovely wee village with a couple of excellent Bavarian restaurants. The food was excellent and the people very helpful
We ended up going to the tourist advice center and being pointed in the direction of a lovely local farmhouse where we ended up staying a further five days.
Inzell is a fairly small town and not much to see (but they do have excellent pizza.) But if you have a car, Pension Restner is only about a 20 minute drive to Berchtesgaden, Königssee and Ramsau. At least in the summer of 2022, Pension Restner was very affordable compared to other accommodation places in the Berchtesgaden area. Pension Restner is quiet and clean. The wifi is good and the breakfast excellent. The owners don't speak very good English, but things are still managed well. Be prepared to pay in cash.
What makes a super-luxury hotel different from a regular hotel is not just the facilities. A luxury hotel gets the highest rating because of its customer-conscious service. Chiemgaufuchs is not an apartment hotel with the best facilities, but it has the best customer service mindset. Of course, the cleanliness and convenience of the accommodation are the basics. The service hall, billiard room and sauna facilities in the basement are also very attractive. Highly recommend!!
Quiet location was beautiful. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Pool area is great for a small hotel in the area. The children's playground which is a stones throw from the hotel was magnificent. I could have spent hours there if my children were younger. The best of German playground design at the foot of the mountains. A pool table used by older teens....and there is gym equipment, sauna and jacuzzi.
The place is exactly like the pictures, it has all the necessary appliances to make a quick meal or breakfast and have it outside facing the beautiful view of the mountains which was exactly what we were looking for. It is not far from the bus station. A chiemgau card is included which gives you a lot of reductions in some activities. We used it for a cable car ride hochfelln (we got a free ticket)
Location is quiet and a 10 min walk to Inzell center. The kitchen is very complete. Living room is nice with home made original materials. Sleeping room has very comfortable beds. The owners gave us home made jam and fresh eggs. Very nice people. Nice outside sitting area with view on the mountains. Great location for bike and walking trips.

The accommodation was great, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped. The host was very kind, waiting for us with homemade jam, tea and bonbons. The chiemgau card is a real added value, we could enjoy a wellness bath with the card for free! After the skiing it was great.
Our stay was amazing. Very special thanks to Dmytro, he waited for us at 12am when we arrived and was SUPER amazing and accommodating. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Great location to get around Austria and Germany! Thank you Dmytro!
