The city also has most of the stores but I can't say we visited it much.

Nice little town.
Nice little town. Worth to stay couple of days and explore museums, downtown, and restaurants. We had dinner at Gasthaus Daniel - great food. Enjoyed walking around the downtown. Better to stay at the hotel in the centre and explore surroundings.

I returned to Ingolstadt after a 28 year gap.
I returned to Ingolstadt after a 28 year gap. I had studied there through the German studies program from St. Cloud State University, so much of the city has changed. It had become busier than I remember, but there were plenty of familiar places.

Lots of ‘interesting’ art work, incredible churches and nice statues around town.
Swimming at Baggersee was the best! Just 10 mins from the centre, easy cycle.
Audi museum is well worth a visit, you don’t even have to like cars to find it interesting, but if you do even better.

Ingolstadt is an excellent city with lots of things for people to see and do from the ancient German military museum to the New Audi museum and lots of other very interesting places all within a very short walking distance. So there really is something for everyone.

Ingolstadt -- of course is famous for its automotive industries, but it has a very nice old town too, what many may not know. I like to go there and have a good bavarien dinner in one of the restaurants. I can also recommend the sports facilities in e.g. swiming hall.
Can’t say enough positive about this hotel . This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful area along the Danube . Super reception with great and friendly staff . Beautiful room #333 overlooking the Schloss/Castle across the way . A short walk to city center .
Bicycle storage was inside and very secure. Room was exceptionally clean and quite large . Amazing bathroom with wonderful shower .
Dinner at on-site restaurant was very good and reasonably priced . Breakfast was probably best that we have had in our travels throughout Europe .
Conveniently located almost inside of Ingolstadt Hauptbahnhof. It's far from the city center, but you have access to trains for inter-city connections and buses to the old town. The room is great, reasonably sized, super clean, modern, great shower, good WiFi. The room faced the train station, but the windows are thick enough that we couldn't hear any noise. They let us keep our luggage there before check-in and after check-out.
Nothing have worked properly. The online check-in procedure is too complicated. During the check-in were charged 2 additional breakfast, we are a family of 4 people and we had to pay 6 breakfast in total. Without paying the 2 not-requested breakfast we would haven't received the room's key. There was no choice to correct it. The room's themselves are clean, you cannot pretend more for such hotel levels.
We were invited to a birthday party in Ingolstadt over the weekend. My hosts chose the kult hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the design of the hotel. I love the ceiling picture in the room and the great mirror lamp above the bed. My request for a room with a bathtub was granted so that I could relax after my arrival. I also found the breakfast the next morning very appealing.
I love everything about the hotel the decorations and the price of the vip parking which it cost only 9 euros , the place was wonderful and the location is perfect, the suite was amazing and the breakfast was delicious, they brought a very hot croissant and the weather was lovely in November , everything was like heaven
Very nice hotel in the center of Ingolstadt. Although I had to leave very early because of a sports event, the host found a solution to provide me with a nice breakfast package, even including coffee and gluten free bread! Thanks again! The parking lot was also great in the very center of the city

Many hotels state that they would replace the towels only when put into the shower or on the floor, this hotel really DOES it which I value very much!
The room was fantastic. Nice kitchenette. Wonderful shower with nice hot water. Room had Air conditioning that worked great. Very good food & nice Italian restaurant attached. Staff at both restaurant and hotel were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel has a great location, the staff was nice to us. The bed was really really comfortable, I wish I could stay longer there. Altstadthotel is definitely a hotel what I will book next time, when I am in Ingolstadt.

It's cheap and the room is large. The hotel is above a bakery that has a good selection. There was also a massive fridge and a small stovetop for cooking.
