I love a good German eiderdown and this fulfilled all expectations. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were up to-date but still charming and very clean. The restaurant at the hotel was good and very popular. A convenient location for a drive up north. Note that traffic in hamburg is heavy so if you're heading for the ferry to Denmark, leave in very good time.

Good location when traveling back from Scandinavia to the Netherlands. Nice rooms, good shower, nice people, restaurant with a terrace that also had a children menu! We had a room in the back which was really quiet.

The property was spacious, beautifully setup and had everything that one needed to be comfortable as a family. Black out curtains in the bedroom were a plus and the king bed was very comfortable to catch up on sleep after a long drive. The owner allowed me to use an extra room to setup cribs for my children which was extremely courteous of him.
It’s situated near the Heide and hence an evening stroll or run is great to do in that area.
I’ll definitely be saving this location for further stopovers (maybe more than one night next time).
It's a bad hotel. The behavior of the employee who made the receptionist at least unacceptable. You pay for the internet. Hotels in Uganda also have free internet. And after I paid for it, in the room I was in I did not catch a signal. Breakfast was very expensive. The shower was broken.
