Fantastic location right at the bottom of Neuschwanstein castle! Great room - if you are lucky enough to get a balcony like we were, you will have a perfect view of the castle. Breakfast was outstanding too. Joanna helped us at check-in and was able to answer all my questions about the area and visiting the castles.
This hotel is located between Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle on the Romantic Road, 2.5 mi from Füssen. Hotel Müller offers elegant rooms and a Bavarian-style restaurant.
With some rooms offering wonderful views of the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, this traditional hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Füssen and the Austrian border.

The location was amazing. No need to pay parking to visit the castle and it’s close to everything. The breakfast was also superb. Lots of variety and fresh! The price ratio performance is great!!
Directly on the pedestrian zone in Füssen’s old town, this traditional hotel offers free WiFi. It is 1640 feet from Füssen Train Station, and 2.5 mi from Neuschwanstein Castle.

Location was central. The attached restaurant was relatively good. Breakfast was good too.
This 4-star hotel in the Bavarian town of Füssen offers spacious rooms, spa facilities and 1 restaurant with 3 theme areas. The main train station is only 328 feet away.

The property was in the center of town. The family room was large and there was plenty of parking. Breakfast was great and the staff was fabulous. Would absolutely stay there again and I highly recommend!
Located directly by the Alatsee Lake on the Austrian border, this family-run hotel offers a hearty buffet breakfast, a sun terrace and country-style rooms. Neuschwanstein Castle is 6.2 mi away.

The rooms are nice and cozy, with that old charm. Everything was clean, comfortable, and had a homey feel that made it even more relaxing. There are no toilets/showers in the rooms, but the shared facilities are close, warm, and private when you are in them. There's no risk of someone walking in while you shower for example.
Food was also excellent, I would even advise that the portions are very generous! The salad was amazing, and over delivered on quantity and taste. Really was the icing on the cake so to say.
Central location convenient for visiting the two castles.
Central location convenient for visiting the two castles. There is nothing there apart from a series of hotels and a few restaurants. Even so, much more conventient than staying further out and paying for parking etc.
For more amenties and activities apart form the castles try Fussen, 15 minutes away

This city is amazing and the people are so nice.
This city is amazing and the people are so nice. I had all good experiences during my stay in the area. The Castle Hohenschwangau is worth a visit as well. Most people just go to Neuschwanstein, but please visit the Hohenschwangau Castle as well. Do not eat at the Hotel Muller Bistro quick snack place. The Jumbo hot dog was terrible, and I had an ache in my stomach the rest of the day. Eat at one of the sit down restaurants!

Woman from reception was completely stressed out wich is unpleasant if you have just traveled so we didn't feel very welcome when checking in. After 17:00 not possible to eat anything. Bad WIFI and breakfast ( no fruit) that was not what you expect fir this price. Rooms did not have insulated walls. Perfect distance from the Neuschwanstein castle ( only 200 meters)

We only had one night here which had to fit into our other travel plans. Was a great experience and we will be back for at least 3 nights so we can do further mountains, hikes and cycling. The place has stunning vistas can highly recommend.

Fairy-tail castle build by a romantic young king in a fantastic location high-up in the Bavarian mountains and overlooking a lake surrounded by dense forest. It is a destination worth seeing, part Disney World (the castle itself), part reality (its location). Prior reading up on the historical facts is recommended, though. Visits are well organized, but generally require some waiting for busses and scheduled tours. The physically fit can hike up, instead, but everything has its price, including parking.

Hohenschwangau was a winter fairytale.
Hohenschwangau was a winter fairytale. We had gently falling snow for our stay in December and the township was lit up for Christmas. It was truly magical. We enjoyed the drive through the wintry countryside to get to this destination, one of the most beautiful drives with snow-laden trees and a snow cleared safe passage. Neuschwanstein Castle is a short walk or horse-drawn carriage ride free from the township. There is ample paid parking (10 Euros for a car) for those visiting the castle on a day trip. We dined on traditional Bavarian food a short stroll from our hotel whilst other members of our group dined at Hotel Muller. Service is exceptional. It is like the service providers in this township have made a collective pact to leave every visitor with the best and warmest memories to cherish. I will be telling everyone about this wonderful experience.
Part of our European Road Trip was to visit Schwangau and its castles. The weather was less than favourable but it was still an epic addition to the trip. The staff at the hotel are fantastically helpful and friendly. The hotels location is without doubt the best in town, we could see both castles from our bedroom - which was superbly appointed as well as clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, with plenty of variety. They have secure and spacious underground car park which is a must if you are driving through Europe. Overall, fantastic!
Unbelievable little hotel, unbelievable location, unbelievable price. We got the last room available online and were upgraded when we arrived. The room was so charming and large with multiple windows. View of the castle. Very clean and comfortable. Very romantic setting. Restaurant was so delicious and the manager on duty was very kind and friendly, giving great information and advice for our stay. Parking was right across the street and very inexpensive. Can't believe we got a room here!
The castle view was amazing. By the time we arrived most things in town we closed but it was worth the long travel just for the view from the balcony. The castle view was so special and the actual property was beautiful too. It was only the next morning in the daylight we realised that you could also see the Hohenschwangau castle from the front of the property. The staff were really helpful and friendly and breakfast was such good value for 1 Euro!
Situated in the heart of the little township at the base of the walk to Neuschwanstein Castle, what a magical delight Hotel Muller is. Exceptional customer service, we were greeted with a welcome wine and friendly reception staff. Rooms are well appointed and surrounds of hotel are full of old-world charm. Breakfast was served in a glasshouse area with scenic views to the mountains. An absolutely magical Bavarian stay.
Location to the castle is unbeaten. Good views. Easy walk to castle entrance. Large rooms, clean, updated, comfortable bed, good bathroom, restaurant in the hotel serving basic German food, but good drinks and ice cream! Good price. Nice breakfast eating room. Quiet. Free parking. Easy (downhill) walking to Hohenschwangau Castle, Alpsee and cafes. Coming back up is a bit of a gradient, but good exercise!
Perfect location, a short walk to the lake, museum and transport to both castle's.
Our room was warm and comfortable with an amazing view of Neuschwanstein Castle from the balcony.
The staff were extremely helpful and courteous.
Breakfast at the hotel was excellent as were the meals we had in the restaurant for dinner. We would definitely stay here again.
You can't beat the location and view at Hotel Garni Schlossblick when visiting Schloss Neuschwanstein. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the castle from the balcony. Breakfast was great, and you also get a pass for local buses and trains in the area included with your stay.
Close proximity to get to neuschwanstein castle, room is big and clean, bed is comfy. Breakfast has a wide variety as well, but mainly breads, pastries, cheeses, sausage and egg, not for those who always want Asian food. If you're going to the castle, I would recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was excellent! Front desk super friendly and extremely helpful! Romantic setting in room was unexpected and lovely! Very well managed hotel! Once we checked out and went to visit the castles they let us stay in our parking spot. Very accommodating!
The front desk person, Ms. Sabine, was professional, friendly and helpful. On the balcony we had an actual "Schlossblick" (castle view). The only thing negative was no TV in the room and not much going on in Hohenschwangau after 8:00pm
Perfect location, indeed "Schlossblick". Very easy to get to, parking spaces available. Great breakfast and fantastic staff. Highly recommend staying in the hotel when visiting the Neuschwanstein castle.
Location. From the window of our rooom we can see Hochenwangau castle. From the window of breakfast room we did see
Neuschwanstein castle. It was wonderfull. Hotel is clean and personal is very nice
Location couldn’t have been better. You can see both castles from the property, and it’s a 10 min walk to Hohenschwangau castle. Neuschwanstein is easy too but a longer walk (same for everyone)
Hôtel was great! Staff was beyond welcoming. Our room was a nice size and had a view of the castle. Breakfast every morning. Quick 3 minute walk to all of the stores and restaurants.
Really close to both castles (walking distance), had parking available and the hotel itself was really spacious and clean. If you're in the area to see the castles this place is perfect.
