The hotel has free parking for your car(for electrical cars they have also charger). There is market, restaurant around the hotel , in emergency case you can use them but please note that kebab house is not presenting real Turkish foods they are hardworking but please don’t consider Turkish food based on kebab house’s food. Hotel has breakfast service and restaurant for dinner but we have just use breakfast service it was sufficient for quick breakfast. Hotel’s crew were kind and helpful , we want to thanks specially to madam that help us about our car’s charging.

Staff were great. Rooms were huge (basically an apartment), with awesome hidden bunk beds, and full kitchen.
Location was fantastic, right next to a river and only a few minutes from both Europa Park and a Lidl and Edeka.

The receptionists said we should have looked up Google to find out if we could stay in that region of Germany..
I do believe that booking.com should have informed us. We had been driving for many hours from the Netherlands, I am 80 years old so was exhausted. Also the hotel should have told us before arrival.
We carried on to Switzerland as the only option where we found a decent hotel.
I am shocked to see that have since been charged the full amount by this hotel.

Herbolzheim is very quite and almost nothing we can do around . I am surprised because a lot of halal restaurant there, i feel so glad. The banhof looks very very old, i havent seen any informatiin center. People around Herbolzheim are very kind, mostly big smile and warm. The best thing in herbolzheim is very closed to Europa park, and the bus to get there is free of charge.

We've decided to stay there (Herbolzheim) simply because it is very close by to the "Europa Park" and so we were able to easily drive from our apartment to "Europa Park" in approximately 10 minutes.

The location was great as a base for traveling around to see different areas and only about a 10-15 minute drive to Europa-Park.
On the down side eating in the area was sometime a bit of a challenge as restaurants close very early or only allow you in if you have a reservation.
Everything was ready, arrived after 8 pm, before closure of reception at 9pm. At reception somebody was waiting on us. It was a fast check-in and easy as we know the location already. We've been there a few times. Nice area and location as you can have a few restaurants to take your breakfast. You can even decide to purchase your breakfast outside the hotel and enjoy good time at the terrace you have with your room. Really like the spot and the ambiance inside the hotel.
Instructions and communication before we arrived were comprehensive. Very clear sign on the Main Street in Herbolzheim so that our search at 22:30 was made much shorter. Keybox collection of the key went perfectly. Apartment obviously clean, generally spacious and looked good for a longer stay (we were there for one night) but we took very little advantage of the facilties. There was no noise from the various other residents sitting outside

It is a high way hotel, so it was just fine. Not really special, but everything you need. Perfect for night to stay over on your way back home from Italy.. There is restaurant close to the hotel, as well as a Burger King and a Mc Donalds, which gives you plenty if dinner options. The breakfast was excellent!
We arrived in Herbolzheim on a boiling hot, humid day, easily collected our keys and opened the old wooden door into an enormous, cool modern apartment, fully equipped with Miele oven, washing machine, enormous beds, huge old dining table. The apartment could easily accommodate 8 people in great comfort.
The kitchen is very well equipped, there is a washing machine, so it is very convenient for a long stay.
The rooms are clean and comfortable.
The staff is lovely, there is a
parking space near the hotel, there is a supermarket and on Fridays in front of the hotel there is a very nice farmers market.
as the name suggests the hotel is close to highway, booked 20 mins prior to my arrival (around 22:00), check in was done in matter of minute. Room was clean, breakfast great ... all in all great experience and great value
Room is clean and confy enough, great staff. Dog friendly, 10 min drive from Europa Park, german restaurant across the street with discount for hotel guests (Also McDonald's and Burger King)
The hotel is just next to road 5, electric chargers and gas station next to the hotel. Also Burger King and McDonalds is next to it too. Breakfast is included the price and it was good.
