Spacious rooms with large windows/French Doors opening onto a balcony in some rooms. Plenty of electrical sockets; very good bedside lighting. Large walk-in shower. Quiet location in the country but not far from shopping. Hamburg’s metropolis only an hour away; historic Lübeck about the same. German-style breakfast buffet with some North-German touches (e.g. herring). I was able to order scrambled eggs each morning. Attached restaurant for meals & events. Very useful for hosting family gatherings, as hotel & restaurant are connected. Separate heating in bath & room makes for comfortable showering.

A superb hotel with a very roomy bedroom and bathroom. Best towels I have seen in any hotel. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. We were sorry we only stayed one night. A very friendly owner, we were very well looked after.
