Breakfast was great, the view of the lake was stunning, the staff was super friendly, the bar was nice and the common areas were pretty great. The wellness area is super nice too. We would definitely come back and also recommend it to friends. I loved the architecture of the house.

Its a small village for the tourist.
Its a small village for the tourist. Great for walking and cycling. Winter or Summer. Its your choice. The area was quite when I was there. This is perfect for who I am. There are lots of amenities to choose from. Its also perfect just for small walks. One can also based themselves from here and see and explore the surrounding area

Breakfast was good. Not an extensive selection as in a very large hotel (like bacon or pancakes) but really quite good and excellent coffee (a large london hotel struggled there). Also the entire hotel was renovated not too long ago and looks quite modern on the inside , the photos dont lie.
the service was extraordinary - people from the hotel was always smiling and making the stay for us the best.
everything we asked for was possible, the food was fine, the beer cold, the rooms spacious and best od all smiling staff 😉😉
Location was fine and it was a good starting point for visiting different places in Harzen. Breakfast was good and personnel were friendly. Town was nearly empty and dead.
Bockberg was fun though.
