A beautiful, peaceful Hanseatic town near the Baltic coast, birthplace of the German Romantic painter Caspar David Friedrich. I went in May and it was sunny and warm. Take a jacket though, it gets colder in the evenings!

Greifswald is nice little student town essentially at the sea with people on bikes all around. It is a nice place to visit, has some tourist attractions and some shops. In general the prices are very affordable and there is a decent selection.
This is, of course, a small student town so nothing for people that expect a lot of sightseeing or shopping. It is a good place for a short stay or a day-trip.

Interesting town, very relaxing atmosphere, good and friendly people,
nice impressions from Wieck and monastery Eldena. Calm and relaxing look around, like I , should return back in the times from the romantic paintings of Gaspar David Friedrich

Greifswald is a home to largest fusion reactor in the world, Wendelstein 7X. Apart from that impressive machine, nature in Greifswald is absolutely wonderful. Rivers and lakes, cliffs and forests, the Baltic sea and its fish in restaurants wont leave you disappointed.
The hotel has free parking. The breakfast buffet is very good. There is a fridge in the room and everything in it is included. The room is quite spacious and with big windows. They provide additional pillows to be able to choose what best suits you. The reception is very quick and efficient and the key-card system is good. There are some shops nearby along with a McDonald's, close to gas stations and near the road out of Greifswald. This hotel is great for those by car, only 10 mins from Wieck (sea).
The pension is located in Neuenkirchen, which is a couple of kilometres away from the Greifswald town centre. Well equipped rooms and has no parking problems. For their price, they also include a very good selection of breakfast including eggs, made to order. They also have a nice Eis-Cafe to spend some time relaxing during the summers.
Mr. Mostafa is the best Person I have ever met in a Hotel.
Awesome Location in heart of the city. Easy access to everywhere you want.(Beach, swimming pool and shopping center).
Good selection of food.
Super friendly Staff.
Great Value during high season.
Available Car parking.
Very nice staff, welcoming and friendly. For the first time (after many years) I felt like in a traditional German "Gasthaus" - with good breakfast, comfortable beds and nice neighborhood. Hotel Am Dom is a nice place to stay when being in Greifswald.
The hotel has an old charm and a convenient location within an easy reach of Greifswald. The family room we had was clean and spacious. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The food was great, we especially enjoyed the dinner but also the breakfast.
The apartment was perfect for our stay in Greifswald. It is clean, modern, comfortable and quiet. The host, Roland Troge is the best! He is friendly, kind, and has several properties that are all of the highest quality. We will be back!

Close to the city. In the area is a big supermarket. Sights in Greifswald, Usedom and the Baltic sea are in a close proximity. The house is wonderful. We went in winter so we were not really able to use the beautiful garden.
The location of the hotel and the surrounding area/village has so much character! Scenic, peaceful, and relaxing. A wonderful surprise for us as visiting from the United States.
