Good location and excellent value for money. We had a spacious triple room. The room was very neat and its location was very quiet, even though the room was right next to the lift. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room was very clean. The room had good storage space for three travellers' clothes and three of our large suitcases. We liked the storage shelf, which was a very imaginative solution. The room stayed pleasantly cool at night by keeping the window open (the temperature was around 11 degrees at night). As such, there was no mechanical air conditioning in the room, so in hot summer weather the room might be too hot. All three beds were very clean, although the mattress on two of them was a bit old, and they sloped slightly to one side.

That the hotel is new makes it nice. It is near the Bio Campus convenient if you have business there, near the motorway but not right next to it, not too far from the city center if you have a car, but you can also take a bus to the u-bahn or walk 30mins through a beautiful forest to get to the u-bahn stop. The forest and the meadows around Martinsreid are great for runners. The hotel caters for vegan & gluten free diets. It is possible to sleep with the window open which is nice in summer. The rooms were nice & clean.
This hotel just opened and is not completely finished yet. They will have a spa and a rooftop with swimming pool, but they are currently building this. We traveled on a weekend, so we were not disturbed by any works. The breakfast was a really good buffet breakfast with a variety of food. The hotel has a designer look and feel, somewhat minimalist which one may like or not. The hotel is situated in an industrial area, at the limit of the city, but was safe. Although would not go for a walk there after nightfall.
