The apartment is really nice and was perfect to rest for one night while traveling. The little fenced in yard was perfect for traveling with a dog and you can easily go for walks there too.

Unfortunately we didn't have much time to explore it. As we can see from the car wile we driving on the main street it is very nice small city. We only taste very good traditional Bavarian cuisine of Zollhausl restaurant.

Freilassing is right on the doorstep of Salzburg but is...
Freilassing is right on the doorstep of Salzburg but is definitely more pleasant from the point of quietness. Prices reflect this - you will pay double in Salzburg! Plenty of bars/eateries - except on Mondays!
The location is very close to the nearest station (just about 15min. by S-Bahn from Salzbrug Hbf) and was very quiet rather than Salzbrug downtown. There were some casual restaurants to enjoy dinner. The hotel room was clean. The breakfast was nice and cheaper than the average price of others (+8Euro). Of course, if you wish to enjoy the nightlife in big city, obviously this place is not right place. But, for me, it was not problem. I could be relaxed staying here.
The hotel is lovely, the room and the bathroom are clean, the bed is very comfortable. The staff is kindly and helpful. There is free parking place and a direct public transport connection to Salzburg. The breakfast is great. The check-in and check-out is easy and fast.
The room was really clean and especially bathroom was comfortable. To Salzburg, it takes about 10-20minutes by train, but train is come to about every 20minutes so it’s very convenient.
The nearest statin Freilassung to hotel is about 5 minutes walk.

It is very nice small hotel in peaceful small village 15 minutes away of Salzburg. Staff are very friendly, rooms are confortable and clean. Breakfast is perfect! Highly recommend. I will be back for sure.

Modern hotel, safe parking for bicycles on ground floor, friendly staff and close to train station. We walked to Smugglers brewery nearby for a tasty pizza in a shaded garden.
