The location was super cozy and nice, right next to a forest and the town is so cozy and beautiful. The best thing was that its just 15 minutes ride from Cologne city and the train goes every half hour!
The place is an annexy in an old house, its like a separate cabin in the lawn and is super premium!
The hosts are so nice that they even picked me up from the train station by car, and then offered me free beer and chatted for a long while! I have never experienced such an amazing hospitality in Europe and this is by far a mind blowing experience! I will definitely visit again!
To anyone visiting Cologne, I would suggest to stay at their place as its affordable plus really close.
Location and price were the reasons for choosing this place.
It is only 15min from S19 to the center, the station is 1 minute from the hotel, and there was a 24H train. I found it perfect and it met my expectations. Check in and check out was very flexible. It has a bar/restaurant with terrace for those who want to enjoy it and everyone was friendly
You have to love these rural convenience hotels in Germany: everything is simple but solid and performing well. The room is spacious enough with a very big window. The bathroom is also generous as well as the shower hot water flow. All in all, very honest places. Good price-value balance.
The hotel states free parking but that was 1/2 a mile away, which was inconvenient with all the luggage 🧳 to be carried. No public room to relax in in the evening, no bar or coffee, tea making facilities. On the plus side rooms were comfortable and clean
we were there for one night only. It is very good for its price. The beds were clean, and everything was available for us. It’s a motel in the end, not a 5 stars hotel. It does the job right! the receptionist was very helpful and nice!
Very clean. Nice, spacious rooms. Good underground parking for a small extra fee. Quiet location but only three minutes walk to the town centre and the tram line into Köln. Recommend the Stadt-Café Kremer on the way to the tram.
