Flintsbach is the perfect location for a longer stopover on a trip between Middle Europe and the Mediterranian Sea. The beauty of the countryside its its nativeness is marvellous. A few minutes walk of the village you can enjoy the Prealps. Hiking on the Petersberg or to the Riesenkopf is nice and you can enjoy finally the scenic view. One of the oldest rack railways is a short walk away and you can drive on the top of the Wendelstein without any stress.
During summer they have a beautyful natural open-air pool with cool water from the mountains.
Ideal are the transport connections with direct link to Munich by train and the nearby Autobahn.
We booked the room as it was a long drive from Danmark to Italy and we didnt want to drive through the night.
We have met a very warm welcome by the owner and had a late dinner.
When we woke up, we saw amazing surrounding of this cute village. The hotel is so cute, Tirolian style.
If we had more time, we could imagine to stay for few more nights and relax in this mountain area.

It was a very comfortable hotel. The room had everything you need, a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. The breakfast was good, the coffee is better than in other establishments in Germany.
