The location is on the outskirts or Kaiserslautern so it's very quiet. I stayed there about 5 or 6 years ago and felt comfortable staying a night there again. The Thai restaurant is first class!

We arrived late for check-in and informed the hotel accordingly. A staff member was waiting and gave us keys as soon as we arrived.
