Lovely hotel in immaculate condition. Beautiful terrace right on the river. Good bike storage. Room was huge, although, on the second floor with no elevator - not easy after a long day biking but beautiful space. Normal bathroom with good heated drying rack. Very good dinner and plentiful breakfast. Very nice and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

The hosts were absolutely amazing and the area is just beautiful. The lodgings were spacious and comfortable (having 2 bathrooms was super convenient too). There is a bus stop just across the footbridge to easily access Kelheim if you don't want to drive. It is a great home base for day trips to Regensburg or Nuremberg too. The kitchen has everything you need. The owners have a great little cafe below with meals, desserts and booze. There is a cute little store just down the street that is open in the mornings for fresh baked goods and any necessary items. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Although the town is relatively isolated, the hotel and restaurant are well worth the slight detour. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food exceptional, and the overall atmosphere quiet and peaceful. The hotel is basically the town, but there are numerous walking paths around and it is easily accessible to the local sites. A totally wonderful stay.
