Well, only the staff was okay.
The bar was strange because everyone where drunk. Even the bartender. I wanted to have a nice evening there and to try out some stuff, but everyone where drunk, so hope everyone had good toast for this.

We were taken to at least two eating places: One near the train station; The Curry House Restaurant where I had a taste of Pork and another restaurant, southern end of FAU Institute, we had very tasty Pizza.
Getting around Erlangen is quite easy considering affordable buses are all over the place. Next time I would avoid moving around the city by taxi instead of buses

Just easy place to find.
Just easy place to find. But too close to the motor way unfortunately. No hot water unclean Parkin area rubble in the parking bay. I did complain but they only refunded a 10 % as we had no hot water after a long journey . Very bossy reception manager. Not helpful .

It is an okay town.
It is an okay town. Being a student town, there is always something happening near city center (Hugenottenplatz) that will suit your liking. It is well connected with Nürnberg with both S-bahn and RE, and also has well connected bus network within the town. I recommend walking from Neuermarkt to Schlossplatz, or have a picnic in Schlossgarten. That is the most vibrant part of the town, with many shops. Occasionally, there are people playing live music in this path too.

As a tourist base for the city Erlangen and the neighboring cities Fürth and Nuremberg the hotel is really well suited. Car parking in the underground car park of the hotel (13,00 € / day) is possible. Breakfast is unfortunately, in our view, its price (22.90 € per person) is not worth it. During the week there are some alternatives in the immediate vicinity (city center) of the hotel.
Overall: recommended value!

Small town but has a charm to it.
Small town but has a charm to it. It’s very lively especially during weekends. The buildings are beautiful (*it kinda reminds me of Disneyland in Paris). The streets are also very clean, though I’ve never seen any garbage cars or scavengers.
Cool city for a max 3 day business-stay, otherwise the city will make you become really bored. You don’t need bus tickets since the town is so small.
Places to see: Botanical Garden, Neustädter Kirche, Orangerie, Schloßplatz, Hugenottenplatz Place to shop: Erlangen Arcaden
Place to eat: Kitzmann Bräuschänke, Teehaus

Went to Erlangen primarily as a good base to visit Annafest in nearby Forcheim. Was pleasantly surprised by the town. Not a touristy place, but really nice nontheless. Very clean, easy to get around, great transport links, plenty of choice for eating out, and a lovely park.
Modern hotel, close to the town center, very clean rooms, great breakfast bar, lots of natural light everywhere, parking garage, elevator. Cute accents in the bedroom include modern hanging decorations, a hanging plant and “Gute Nacht” (Good Night) printed on the ceiling above your head. Hopefully when the pandemic is over the wellness area will reopen. The quasi-rooftop garden is a nice touch, and would certainly be great in spring and summer, but was not active or accessible while I was there.
Everything in this place is extremely nice and clean.
The furnitures are super classy l, vibrant and modern.
The bed is super comfortable. The room is extra clean.
The location is excellent, close to the train station (Paul Gasson)
just 400 steps, bus station right in front of the property.
The breakfast is also fabulous. If you by any chance travel to Erlangen you really don’t have to search for any other Hotel, this should be your choice.
It has really made our stay. Thank you.xxx
Location. Next to the train station. One could reach the farthest platform 4 within 3 minutes. While platform 1 can be reached in 1 minute.
Room was quite big and comfortable.
Breakfast was ample with everything in abundance. The owner was super efficient in managing the hotel.
An excellent superstore was next door where one could get everything to eat. There were all kinds of shops round the corner. All in all a very convenient location.
1. Super convenient location;
2. A warm and clean room, small but functional;
3. Excellent stuff, Simona is super nice. She helped me a lot with planning my travel around Erlangen. She responded super quickly to my messages on booking.com and prepared check-in and room according to my needs.
4. Breakfast is good value for price;
The hotel, in a building from 1702 looks super cozy when you arrive. The staff/owner (?) was super friendly and helpful. The whole stay was very pleasant and the hotel is indeed a hidden gem. Food and breakfast was very good. And the whole place including food is given to you from the heart. I would come back anytime!
The hotel is in a great location, just a few steps away from downtown Erlangen. The room was comfortable, breakfast was great and plenty. The hotel bar and outside patio were great. What made the hotel exceptional was the friendliness of the staff who made us feel like home. We will definitely come again.
Good location. There is a market right next door to the hotel. I got free breakfast at the bakery around the corner for each day of my stay, which was nice. Easy walking distance to the city center. The room was fully equipped and was very clean and warm. The location is also very quiet.
USB (A and C) outlets on the wall; many outlets in general. The bathroom was fantastic: high quality and clean. The saff was very helpful and attentive. The breakfast was good quality, worth it for the price.
The Kepos is a cozy hideaway at the heart of Erlangen. A perfect synthesis of modern style and state of the art amenities with guests´ well-being always a priority the super friendly hosts.

supermarket and gas station are closeby
Location was great, very close to the centre of Erlangen and the university buildings. The staff was very friendly. The apartment was very clean, and the facilities were good.
Great overall. nothing to complain about it feels like a high quality one room flat with a lot of attention to details like a compost bin, dish soap provided etc etc...
This apartment is very comfortable and well equipped for families. With young or older children. The breakfast was also very nice. We could park in front of the hotel.
Select Hotel Erlangen is a great choice for an overnight stay. Clean, comfortable rooms and EV charging stations are available. Highly recommended for travelers.
