A beautiful hotel not far off the Rennsteig. Lovely area deep in the woods, so no traffic noise. Comfortable bed, good shower. Very good breakfast, and enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant as well. Very friendly staff.

There was a characterful restaurant available for an evening meal and the food was good, although there was a very long wait for it. The balcony, partly overlooking countryside, was a pleasant little outside space additional to the bedroom. The mattress was very firm, which I like, and the bedding was spotlessly clean.
