Second time we stayed there and still satisfied. The different eating/dining rooms with a slightly different feel are a bonus. Although we didn't sit in the 'Biergarten' this time, it is a wonderful area. Although we arrived early, really at the end of breakfast time, we were invited to still have breakfast. Perhaps we were lucky but we were also allowed to occupy the room. Still as quite as before. Due to an oversight we were charged the room twice. We were reimbursed within days.
This 3-star-superior hotel is in the Upper-Bavarian village of Olching, 20 km west of Munich. It has a new Asian-style spa as well as regional and international cuisine.

This family-run hotel is located in Rumeltshausen, 6 km north-west of Dachau. It offers country-style rooms with a flat-screen TV and free wired internet. On-site parking is free.

We were absolutely not expecting a lot from this unassuming little inn, but it turned out marvellous. It is a small and cozy family business type, with super friendly staff, but is managed like a big hotel, with everything super clean, every amenity in place, and believe it or not, the mattresses were so comfortable, we had to ask at the reception for the manufacturer.
The breakfast is simple but home-like and plenty, with coffee, tee, milk, yogurt, bread, cheese, cereals and homemade marmalade. So you might also say continental.
(Apparently the hall downstairs also serves for the weddings from the nearby church, the walls are covered with happy newly wed pictures.)
Located just outside of Munich, suited us perfectly as well. Calm rural surrounding, good for a quiet walk.
Located in Emmering bei Fürstenfeldbruck, 4 km from Olching Bird Park, Landhotel Grätz offers country-style rooms. Free Wifi is available for guests in all areas.
Easy to access from the motorway. Plenty of on site parking and felt very safe. The restaurant was busy so asking for a table reservation could be useful. The breakfast was excellent and really good value for money. Highly recommended.
