The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to accomodate us. Special shoutout to Herr Schmidt. We were affected by a strike and they offered us everything in their power to help us with our rebooking. In addition we are vegan and they went out of their way to provide us with food. When something was up with my laptop so that I couldn't access the internet to work, Herr Schmidt did not rest until the problem was solved. Every staff member we met, at reception, cleaning, and in the restaurant, was lovely and in good spirits. This is a 4 star hotel, but honestly with employees like Herr Schmidt it should be a 5 star hotel. 1 extra star for this wonderful staff!

Location is magical, beautiful forest all around us and sea with sandy beaches right next to the accomodation village. :)
Whole area was very calm, we slept wery well in the night. Even there are a lot of cottages, they are located very well, so you still have feeling of privacy. Pastries delivery is good service, we used it once and after, we went to the shop in Dranske.
Cottages kitchen was enough equiped, but if you are used for some special tools (potato peeler and cheese grater), bring them. New and clean furniture and dishes.

It looks like both the hauses and the common bathroom/toilet facilities were renovated recently. Everything looks very nice and tidy. Very good location - a nice beach in 2 minutes by feets. Stayed here just for a day but it was a pleasant stay.

During our stay in Rügen, we had the pleasure of exploring the charming municipality of Dranske. A small, picturesque community spanning 20.79 km², it is home to a modest population of 1,127 (as of March 2019). Nestled 3.0 meters above sea level, Dranske offers breathtaking views, including the cliffs of the Danish island Møn on clear days.
The municipality includes several beautiful areas such as Dranske, Banz, Bug, Dranske-Hof, Goos, Gramtitz, Kreptitz, Kuhle, Lancken, Nonnevitz, and Starvitz, each with its unique charm.
Dranske's rich history adds to its appeal. First mentioned in 1314 in a list of prince's taxes collected by a Brunswick knight, Dranske has a history that intertwines with the broader Rügen Island. The district of Nonnevitz was even documented earlier in 1193 when Jaromar I, Prince of Rügen, donated it to the Cistercian Monastery in Bergen.
Today, Dranske is a testament to the island's historical richness and natural beauty. It's a fantastic place to unwind, explore, and get a taste of the idyllic Rügen life. I highly recommend a visit!

The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was versatile. The beach was shown from the balcony. The location was quiet. The parking lot was just by the hotel. Watching the sunset was very enjoyable. If you are there for a short vacation and okay to eat limited options food and no internet in the room then this place is recommended.
Very good facilities like swimming, mini golf etc. available. A kid friendly property. Loved the parking options. Very close to beach. Rental options for bicycles on the property. Friendly staff. Restaurant options were good. Nice view from the house. Well equipped kitchen. All in all was a wonderful and memorable stay for a week.
Apartment was in quiet place, reconstructed, clean, cosy and equipped. Bakery, restaurant and swimming pool were in premises (swimming pool had to be booked in advance, so it wasn't overcrowded, but was a bit colder).
