We did not go sightseeing, were there for a wedding and I want to give a shout out to Wesley who worked at front desk, he was our savior, we arrived at the hotel by Taxi and we thought as everywhere else they accept card but the driver did not accept card and would not talk English, my husband offered him $40, our fair was only 9 euros. So Wesley helped us and always greeted everyone with smile.

One of the most beautiful cities I've seen, a lot bigger than I expected. Love the sights of Signal Iduna Park, U tower, Christmas market, the big mall galerie, the arhitecture, the streets and the buildings, people were pleasant and helped every time I needed some help. It's a pitty I didn't stay for more days to explore more of the city but the 2 days I've been there were trully magneficent.

We came for the Klassiker BVB v Bayern.
We came for the Klassiker BVB v Bayern. It was an amazing experience. We flew into Cologne (After 6 hour flight delay and got train to Dortmund. I can't believe that German train service renowned for punklichkeit is now worse than UK! UBahn was excellent.
On Sunday we enjoyed the medieval market and a very good breakfast before getting another late train back to Cologne.
I would have liked to have had more time to see more of Dortmund, but DB and Ryanair had other ideas.

We enjoyed Dortmund (except for the train station), but had difficulty getting there. We were going specifically for a soccer game, and had tickets in hand. My son is a big fan of BVB - Borussia Dortmund. We were going by train from Cologne to Dortmund, and thought we had plenty of time to get there. The game was starting at 15:30. Unfortunately, we were delayed by circumstances in Cologne, and just missed the train we had planned on. We still had time to get there by taking the next train out, but there were problems on the track, and they were unable to stop at Dortmund!! We got off at the next station, and had to scramble to get back to Dortmund. By then the game had already begun. We rushed to put our luggage in a locker at the train station, but they were all out of order!! Everywhere else we visited had great storage lockers. We noticed that they are planning to redo that station to modernize it, but the timing was bad for us. We had to drag our bags with us, so jumped into a taxi to get to the stadium at Signal Iduna Park. At the entrance, we sent my son inside, and his friend and I took his luggage. We were told there were some lockers over by the bicycle storage area, so went went over there. They said "Sorry they're closed." I sat and guarded the luggage while his friend went in to watch to rest of the game. It was disappointing, but at least he got to see the intermission and the second half. And, happily, they scored a goal in the second period and won the game!!

I don’t like dortmund.
I don’t like dortmund. I was on the other parts of the Germany like Karlsruhe and stuttgart and I like that part more. I believe the city is extremely dirty and nothing worthwhile to see. People are egressive. Be careful when you travel there.
The staff were super friendly. I loved how clean the room was, The room was well furnished and equipped (hair dryer, a kettle, TV and a bottle of water..). I especially loved having a kettle in the room. You don't know how helpful it is when you crave hot tea at night!
The late welcoming check-in is exceptional. I didn't have to worry about arriving on time 👌
There is a Rewe store nearby, and the U-Bahn station is 4 minutes walk. All that with a very reasonable price as well.
I would definitely come back to this hotel!
We make reservation and never get the room, was not available rooms and we stayed in the middle of the night without place to sleep.Second they withdrew the money for the room on what ground when we didn’t stay in the hotel because of there fault.I was writing complaints to the hotel and call a lot of times but never get any answer and never get my money back. Also I contacted booking as well but no replay from them as well.So my experience with this hotel is terrible and never recommended to no one.
Very comfy room, with excellent shower.
Excellent restaurant but also a really nice little bar hidden away behind the restaurant .
Super-friendly barman (Andreas) ! - He really made the stay special for us.
We learnt more about Dortmund and Westfallen area from him than any travel guides.
Price was very reasonable for the standard of hotel.
Easy transport to the city centre by tram (stop very close to the hotel).
Lots of car parking
Great location - near train station and in the city centre. Very big balcony and bathroom! Soap with a smell of lemon cake. Kitchen equipment was the best! Dishwashing machine, nespresso machine, microwave. A lot of towels. There were even tool for mashing potato. A lot of sources of warm light in the room. Comfortable bed. You can open building and apartment with the smartphone app (after check-in).
Staff were really helpful and friendly - check in was effortless and the night staff were excellent. The hotel was clean and tidy and in a great location - just 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever back in Dortmund.
The staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was very nice and the food at the restaurant was delicious! The room was big and comfortable. It was my second time staying at this hotel and I will definitely book a room again when I'm going to Dortmund!

Special shout out to Nadina, she was extremely helpful during our stay. The hotel is in a great location, perfect for dog walking and easy to get to from highways around Dortmund. I'll visit again whilst driving through Germany.
Location was great in the centre of Dortmund and easy to reach. Great to have a car-park behind the hotel. Rooms were oke, and bar downstairs was good with Skysport. USB=-ports in the room were great for charging mobiles
I liked the pool. Staff was careful. Gym was good. Location is close to the stadium (good), but far from the center and the restaurants. Good to have metro station close to the hotel.
Staff are excellent and really helpful - a credit to the hotel!
The hotel was modern and clean.
Common areas are pleasant and modern.
Close to the train station and to food in town.
The owners are really nice and helpful. The place was clean and comfy. Easy ways to get to the hotel with bus or tram. There are supermarkets within 8 mins.
