Staying here was a wonderful experience. For our needs it was in the perfect location. It is a family run business and they make sure everyone enjoys their stay. The food is outstanding and the staff made our stay enjoyable. The room is very comfortable and set up to allow for charging our electronic devices. Detern is a small, typical village for the Ammerland region. Brick buildings, tall trees surrounded by fields and shallow lakes. It´s westernmost part is a sleepy hamlet with a nice assembly of historical buildings. The center is more buzzing but still very quaint.
