The location was good. We were visiting the nearby rail museum and were also 30 minutes from the Frankfurt Airport where we were flying out the next morning. Historical nature of the property and buildings was interesting. Grounds were very nice for walking. Dinner was excellent

I like that there was a separate entry on the side which went straight up to the rooms. You can arrive at any time of the day and go in with the entry code which you receive. The communication was very easy and fast, I even got an immediate answer on my message shortly before we arrived outside of the official hours. Compared to the style of the room, the bathroom was renovated and very modern.

We stayed over Christmas, visiting a relative who lives there. I found the German Christmas a much quieter and rather nicer season than the UK version. Of course we loved the Christmas markets, and went to the opera. It’s an easy place to get around walking or on the trams.

Great little town with lots of history surrounding it..you...
Great little town with lots of history surrounding it..you can see the original city wall from the 14th hundreds...I think it was build around 1425...if you have a car everything/town is easy to reach. Lots of castles and other historic sites are not to far to drive to.

Nothing really goes on in this little town. The bad things are there is no Uber. And, public transportation is easy only if you know how to use the stupid ticket machine to buy a ticket. I was in Berlin two days ago, where I only had to tap my credit card.

Darmstadt is a great location as it sits on two main autobahns, so getting anywhere in Germany is easy. Especially in Hessen.
Its a big enough town to have all the conveniences, shops , restaurants etc.

It is a beautiful city with a lot of culture.
It is a beautiful city with a lot of culture. We are university students so would love to explore it more. The small city in near the metropolitan city Frankfurt, offers a lot of culture and scenic locations. Love it!
Best breakfast (very rich variety of food), best loveliest employees (always smiling faces around, full of positive energy and hardworking staff, everybody can speak well English), full hospitality, every hour free tee and coffee) , best location (I just walked everywhere, no need to use of any transportation), everywhere is quite clean. It is exceptionally good for such a reasonable price! I appreciate them a lot for making my stay in Darmstadt so lovely and comfortable!
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and we loved the hotel. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect and the staff were fantastic. Our German is not good but the staff all spoke good English which made us feel at home. The food was extremely good, the room clean was very comfortable and tidy.
We will be staying at the Welcome Hotel again
The location was near Luisenplatz which was great since we could walk and chill. The rooms were cozy and had a great view. We did not have breakfast in the hotel, but the location made it easier for us to have food and drinks. Thanks for the lovely service!
The breakfast was delicious and the rooms very big! I could sort out all my luggage easily. The window also opened wide for fresh breezes. There were tall ceilings to and a working air con. 20 mins walk to most places in Darmstadt.
Ideally placed. The street of the hotel gives direct access to Darmstadt main railway station. You are 10 minutes away by feet from Luisenplatz (city center).

The property was great, it had all the amenities and enough comfortable beds for everyone but the highlight was Mr. Sabato was the one of the nicest persons I ever met. Thank you for the warm welcome and care.
Very good breakfast. Location very close to the train station and to the bus stop for Frankfurt airport. With no more than 20 minutes walking you are in Darmstadt downtown.
