Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. We traveled with our toddler. We had a big room which was comfy and clean. The hotel was a bit noisy at night, as you can clearly hear the other guests and rooms did not seem to be very soundproof. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very good. The hotel is directly next to the train station and easy to reach. The old town is a 15-minute-walk away.

Location right next to the train station. Spacious. The amenities. After a long flight, having drinks stocked in the fridge(especially the beer) was a nice touch. Loved that it had parking and their check in and check out was simple and well mapped out with pictures and everything. Snacks were also nice and the kitchen was stocked with many things for cooking. The laundry room was also a plus. We would definitely again.

Dachau is too small to stay in for the night or nights ...
Tour of the prisoner camp was usefull ... Tour guides are distorting the facts making Germany alot worse .. it was a prisoner camp .... during wars ... facts no more or less.
Touring children or students is not a good idea ... it is a horrible idea to be introduced to violance at that age ... ...
The castle was a great spot ... the old town ... need better infrastructure ...
Food was merely to meet the hunger ... busses are available ... routes are confusing in such a small place .
One time visit is more than enough.

Dachau is the place where the very first Nazi Concentration Camp has been built. It was an example camp for all other concentration camps within Nazi-Germany. I think every person should once visit Dachau or a different concentration camp city to understand in what luxury we live today and how cruel humans can be during times of war. And of course also to pay respect to all the victims from the Nazi era.
What I also liked was the public transportation within Dachau. It is simple to get around. Especially the proximity to Munich is great.

Dachau is a historical town on the suburbs of Munich and is easily reached by public transport.
Like virtually every German town it is clean and safe.
I would recommend a visit to the Altstadt and the memorial to those who lost their lives in the concentration camp.

Unfortunately the owners of the restaurant in the front of...
Unfortunately the owners of the restaurant in the front of the same building as the pension do not like the owners of the pension. So we got an earful twice by them because we were asking them questions.
Olympia owners were not on site and left no specific guidelines for us/the guests. It was dark when we arrived and there was no sign outside to tell us where the pension was. So we asked the restaurant owners. They are sick of all the questions from people about the pension since they are not the owners of the pension.
We finally saw that there was an 8 x 10 piece of paper on a door at the back of the building identifying it as Olympia.
So we went up the steps and saw that there were numbers on doors and keys hanging in the doors, but we had no clue which one was ours. And, calling out for someone got no response.
So, we started opening doors & found one that fit what we requested, so started to settle in. About 20 to 30 minutes later someone knocked on our door who could barely speak English and had no clue why we were there. She never identified herself but appeared to possibly be a cleaning lady. She got a man to help with English, which was only some better. They placed a phone call to the owners, whom we had tried to call three times - from the number in our confirmation email. We found out that the number was for the restaurant, & they just said “wrong number”.
The phone resulted in us being told we were in the wrong room & they moved us. It was frustrating and unnecessary for two travelers who were already very weary from a long, long trip.
We did get food at the Hot Spot restaurant at the front of the building, and it was very good. The people were kind to us but very vocal and unhappy about the owners of the pension.
The bus line was close and worked for us. We were only in Dachau to spend the night and keep moving.

We stopped in Dachau then on to Austria to meet up with family, but tried to stay longer but they were booked and no wonder, wonderful place to stay - so accomodating - loved the people - so helpful in every way - loved the train but if you never traveled in Germany - people offer their help - you may need it
The man on reception was very welcoming and accommodating - he called an Italian restaurant for us to order our food! My Genius level 2 bonus gave us an upgrade to a suite which totally exceeded our expectations. The room was large, immaculate and very comfortable. We later found out this hotel has only been open since August 2021! We enjoyed some drinks in the lounge by reception - it felt like we had the hotel all to ourselves!
Dachau memorial site is only a few minutes drive away. Dachau city center is also an easy commute.
The location is ideal: just at the base of the hill to the old city, so it has excellent access to both the old and new parts of Dachau. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Complementary breakfast was excellent, something to look forward to each morning. We stayed in their largest room, a junior suite with a balcony that we enjoyed on sunny afternoons. The room was also very quiet. Overall great experience.
The hotel’s staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean. Our room was average size. The bathroom was very nice. The breakfast was very nice. It had American and European options. The breads were great. The sweets were great. The soft pretzels were great. The server made your eggs and coffee each morning. There were more options on the weekend than during the week. He was very polite and pleasant.
Nice authentic Bavarian hotel in the old Dachau city with good restaurants and ice cream bars around. The Stadtkeller is a nice place to eat in relaxed local style, but the dinner in front of the hotel was also good. Friendly staff ! they arranged car park at the city parking at reasonable cost for us. Dachau KZ memorial was just a short drive away.
Very friendly staff and a good breakfast. The hotel is a short walk to the train station and local shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean. A very good location as well for those travelling into Munich, only a few stops. The hotel is located near the old town.
Very near the Dachau train station. Great location to take the 726 bus to the Dachau Memorial and camp. Plenty of nearby shops to purchase food and drink. There is a wonderful bakery opposite the train station. The apartment was spacious with all the amenities you need.
Nice location, nice hotel, compact rooms. Breakfast was quite good. Allowed us to store luggage for free for several hours while we visited the Camp. Be sure to check out old town and Dachau Palace garden, easily reached by nearby bus.
The hotel is a new building with a modern material and tehnique. Breakfast was ok and sound isolation of the wall and door are very good for a nice sleep. Privat Parking .
Our go to hotel for Dachau - great hotel with restaurant and bar. Great location opposite the train and bus station. Plenty of alternative restaurants if you need a change
The property is very beautiful, the location is far 19km from the marine plaz, all facilities are very near, parking is available and we do enjoy..highly recommended
