We loved our stay at Hotel Schloss. Both Karin and Norbert were very welcoming, informative and helpful. Our room like all of the hotel was full of character and very comfortable. Breakfast was a delightful experience and the *local box" of breakfast foods was fantastic. The hotel location is excellent, near the centre but still very quiet There is ongoing work being carried out to upgrade the hotel but it was not impactful. Hotel Schloss is highly recommended. The whole hotel was immaculate and beautifully decorated. There's a sunlit breakfast room (windows on 3 sides) for the excellent breakfast. The outdoor terrace overlooking the Mosel River was lovely; and offers delicious cakes and pizza for purchase in the afternoon. This is a family-owned hotel that is carefully maintained and operated with love and pride. Great Location: we enjoyed walking the narrow back streets of Ediger-Eller, admiring traditional buildings with grape vine arbors and charming, uniquely decorated doorways. We also had a beautiful day hike in the forest and vineyards above the town. There is a bus stop near the hotel for transportation to other villages.
