Mc Airea is an excellent, very clean airport hotel, with friendly staff (all of whom had a high standard of English) and a truly excellent restaurant. If you need to stay in the area, this is a good quality place to stay. The rooms at the back of the hotel have beautiful views of the hills, the old SS castle at Wewelsburg and the edge of the Teutoburg forest.
This is a great hotel, ideally situated and especially if you’re travelling by motorcycle as I was . Good covered parking. The staff were excellent and so friendly and provided great service . The continental breakfast was superb .
The bathroom was of a very high standard with a great power shower!
I was really surprised by the quality of the food. It’s a small airport hotel but the restaurant is first class, serving delicious food at good prices. The breakfast was also excellent. Best crispy bacon and scrambled eggs I’ve had in ages. Lots of other choices too.

Hotel location good near airport, but we felt directions from airport could have been clearer, we arrived just after midnight and it took us 30 minutes to find hotel, which was only about 5 minutes from airport.
This family run hotel provided us twice last year (2022 Summer and Winter) with the best Service, Breakfast, Beds and Restaurant. We will go out of our way in the future to make sure we visit again.
