The location is very convenient and the staff are kind and helpful. Parking may be s bit challenging if you drive a big car, but I found a parking spot behind the hotel in the end. The facilities are clean, albeit in a kind of outdated design.

Small cozy town that really seems beautiful. I find the old town and the castle one of sweet spots and if you rent a car, you can get to some really nice places around there. Town is clean and peaceful. It could be better lit at night.

Braunschweig gets overlooked, but the art gallery is the second largest in Europe after the Louvre. Would make a great stopover on the way to Berlin (direct motorway). Very reasonable and not overcrowded. Excursions to the VW works in Wolfsburg next door, or Wolfenbuettel (Lessinghaus, castle and library). The old inner German border crossing of Helmstedt Marienborn (monastery) would be another day trip, or the slightly further Harz mountains. Braunschweig was the capital city of a dukedom and therefore boasts a theatre and a swimming pool.

The Schloss was good for retail outlets and cafes
The information office was difficult to find but once there it was found, it had all the information you wanted and the staff spoke good English if your German was not good.
The cathedral and other churches were worth a visit
Need more than a couple of days to really see and enjoy the city

Braunschweig has a beautiful center with very old historical (much rebuilt after WW2) buildings, and also a very modern shopping mall (Schloss). People are very easy going and friendly. There are many opportunities to eat and drink on a terras or inside places.

Visiting the Christmas Market was the Highlight, it was beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere and yummy food aromas. The Christmas decorations everywhere were gorgeous.

Second time visiting and my preferred hotel in Braunschweig for short business visits. Standard rooms are not very big but well organised and equipped. Tasteful Lounge/lobby and breakfast area that doubles as a nice place to get some work done with power outlets generously dotted around. Good service and very nice breakfast. Good location right next to the train station and all public transport with the city centre just a short tram or scooter ride away. The free pass for the public transport they give you when you stay comes in handy.
The location is superb, right in the centre of the old town location, with easy access to shopping and food nearby. I was told by a local friend that the house is indeed a long-preserved building in the city and it was an honor to stay this hotel.
The hotel service is also very attentived and the breakfast will not disappoint you.
Staff was helpful and very plesant. All questions where unswered correct and fast. Location of hotel is very good, 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the old city. Quite area arount the hotel and parking space at reasonable price. since. Breakfast absolutly okay.
My room was # 44 and it had a wonderful view of the city! The breakfast was fantastic as well as the staff. I will defiantly be returning to this location in the future for work or personal travel! Braunschweig is a hidden gem!
You have everything you need for a comfort stay in the centre of Braunschweig. Close to restaurants and shops, the dome and Stadtpalais. You also can get a free parking lot. And the price for all of that is wonderfully

Quirky little hotel, conveniently located, near centre of old town, close to Christmas Markets, and tram stop. Inexpensive but comfortable and all necessary facilities for a short stay.
I am very satisfied with the hotel room and the kind welcome of the staff at the reception desk. I asked them for an additional blanket and they didn't hesitate to comply with my request.
Super apartment, 5 people fit very comfortably. The location is central, easy access to Volkswagen Halle and the historical city center. Very good price.
