It is not acceptual that you can't use the car outside the hotel although we have booked a parking lot in the yard. The time in the hotel I am a resident and I should be allowed to use my car. That has not been to told to me before the booking.

It is a small island in the North Sea.
It is a small island in the North Sea. I was a bit worried it would be too cold but it was fine. The climate is very pleasant. In one week we only had one day with a bit of rain.The always present wind is not too bad.Ther are many toursits but it is not a problem.There are plenty of things to do.There are many restaurants to choose from.The historic little train is brilliant.Ferry connections to the mainland are frequent. Rented bicycles are the most popular means of transport but we just walked which was not a problem.Borkum also has a public bus and plenty of affordable taxis.
Nice family hotel, extremely well kept, spotlessly clean, good decoration (although in the "traditional" style), warm welcome from the reception and the staff in general, despite the language bareer, lift, large and confortable room, very good breakfast, just in front of the train station so very convenient with the luggage, 2 minutes away from the beach, all facilities around from bike rental to food options, etc - anyway, Borkum is small.
The staff is very nice and helpful and the room was beautiful and very comfortable we also had a balcony with a great view. The hotel it's next to the dunes, in a quiet and peaceful place, in the middle of nature. Easy access by bus from the centre or the best option is to have a bike and take the trails all around the island. Incredible weekend!
The location is great for all activities. Very nice furniture and interior design made us feel pretty comfortable from the beginning. Staff is incredibly helpful and forthcoming. Would definitely stay here again if we should return to Borkum. Breakfast was delicious as well. Thank you for the great hospitality we received
Amazing pool/spa. The room was lovely with a nice view of the beach and the sea. The breakfast was delicious too. Had the best time here, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Borkum. They even provided a pair of binoculars in the room for watching the seals.
I like my stay in Borkum! I am really glad that I could find a place for a reasonable price. I got exactly what I read in the description. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean everywhere. I felt very comfortable there!
