The location was good, 10 minutes by foot from the train station, directly at Bermuda3Eck and therefore directly in the inner city with lots of shops and resturants nearby. The room was comfortable, very clean and nicely furnitured. Breakfast could be taken in the restaurant below for max. 19.90€ per person and was plenty and very delicious. The staff in the restaurant was amazingly friendly.

The stay was overall very good. It was clean, quiet and comfortable.
I had a problem with the time of my arrival (late in the night) and the staff was very accomodating and we were able to find a solution!

Highlander Games has great Board Game Stock but mostly for the German speaking audience.
The Matrix is a must go place for a concert.

I was in Bochum to visit friends, but was pleasantly surprised with all the city had to offer! The Stadtpark is lovely, with lots of hiking trails and some paddle boats, and the view from the Bismarck tower was very good (and free!). I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Mining Museum underground tour - very informative and fun! There is so much green in the city, and many shopping opportunities and excellent transport. It's also easy to travel to other locations. We visited the half-timber houses of Hattingen and also Dusseldorf (only about 30 min trip by train). Our favourite restaurants were the tapas bar Uno Mas, and the innovative restaurant The Living Room.

If you need to eat, visit the Bermuda dreieck where you have two blocks of restaurants. Choosing might be a challenge.

Bochum was really lovely at Christmas time. The decorations in the centre we’re lovely and welcoming.
Eating out is also great and there is lots of choice - but many places got booked up at the weekend, so booking ahead is essential.
A spacious flat in a typical worker's apartment building with the charme of old but modern looks and configuration. Two big sleeping rooms with each a king and twin bed offer ample space for families. Home is in convenient location, with easy access to the main A40 highway. We found street parking without issue for all days. The Netto supermarket just up the street is another asset. Check in and out were easy. Recommended and definitely going to consider again for a next visit to Bochum.
We got very excellent service. On the first day, we were lead around to see the environment, and we got a lot of information about the city. The garden is amazing. My son was very happy to play freely in the garden.You can use kitchen very comfortable, there is everything you need. And we were even invited to taste some delicious food. We were treated like family. feel like at home. We suggest to choose here if you come to Bochum.
This apartment is just excellent, and so are the hosts. The exchange was very friendly and professional. The apartment is super clean and furnished with everything you could possibly wish for. I was on a business trip and enjoyed having a spacious, calm place to rest. The apartment has its own entrance, a beautiful garden view and is absolutely quite. If I travel to Bochum again, I will stay here. Absolutely recommendable!

The hotel is in the centre of Bochum, exit the hotel and you are in the centre. Parking is underneath the hotel in a public garage for an acceptable daily rate. Beds great, but the bedlinnen for a double bed is so small that one person is left out in the cold. Hotel is brand new. Loved the hotel. Breakfast great except the juices. Friendly staff.
It has good location - very close to Bochumer Verein station ( 305, 302 line from Hbf- just two stops) or some 10 minutes walk from Rathaus. It is solidly equipped apartment on the 1st floor in a small residential building. Clean and well maintained, perfect for a family.
Small but comfortable and well managed hotel near to the Starlight Express theatre. There was a great choice of hot and cold food at breakfast. Very clean hotel. Excellent place to stay if you are seeing the show as its an easy walk and no need to take transport there.
