It's a really big and comfortable room. We weren't expecting that much. It has all the space needed for those traveling with more luggage. The bathroom isn't far behind either: it's really big and comfortable. The facilities are very well maintained. I classify it as a superior comfort hotel. The location is perfect for those arriving by train, as it is right next to the station. But they also have a parking space for those arriving by car. The breakfast maintains the hotel's high standard.

I liked everything, very good hotel, cozy and familiar, impecable staff and very good bedroom, we used it to visit our daughter who is studying in the city, she was on examination period and used the hotel services for breakfast and to be with us while studying.

The best thing is the location, close to the centre but still available by car. The breakfast was ok, with pretty big choice, but without hot meal. The beds are a bit narrow, but otherwise comfortable. The check-in was possible even after 21h without human presence. Parking was easy in the garage nearby.

A lovely hotel about a 15-minute walk from the train station.
Lilly in reception was extremely helpful and friendly when I checked.
Lilly was ubiquitous serving me a drink while I watched the football in the lobby and my meal in the restaurant afterwards.
Farsad who served drinks and food was also very pleasant and helpful.
My apologies for not knowing the name of the lady in reception the following morning.
She provided me with invaluable information about taking a bus to the Eremetage.
The food was also excellent—especially the lukewarm goat’s cheese with honey and a cornucopia of trimmings [one of the best starters I have ever had].
Very, very highly recommended.

I like this town. The surroundings are pleasant. The town is small and green. There are many parks. Not very noisy. Nice and quiet. There are enough shops. Cafes have nice prices and tasty food. It is a bit frustrating that many cafes don't have coffee with lactose-free milk and few sugar-free products for diabetics, as well as shops.

We went for the Wagner-Festspiel, so it's simple: Bayreuth is the only place. It's a little out of the way for air or train travel, so we chose to drive from Berlin. Having a car was convenient, as our apartment was a few Km out of town. Bayreuth is a charming small city in the Bavarian hills and worth seeing, especially if you're into opera.

This hotel is a short walk, about 10 minutes to the Festspielhaus which makes it a very good location. It is also near to many restaurants and the centre of the town. It doesn’t cater for gluten free and vegan options

The baroque opera house is lovely and certainly worth a visit. \The Margrave New Palace and park. Also the Hermitage, on the outskirts of Bayreuth. The Wagner museum is a sort of must, but if possible, check the times of guided tours to the Steingaertner Piano factory. Some of the churches are worth a visit as are the parks.

Bayreuth was a pleasantly relaxing place with plenty to see, both in the city and nature.
There are several nice parks, as well as a lovely botanical garden. I was a bit surprised at the Ermitage, as it stands out significantly from other European palaces.
We found a delightful mexican restautant, Enchilada. We went a few times in our stay.
It was mostly comfortable to ride a bike, though many streets lack bike lanes.

Since I live only 40 miles away, it wasn’t exactly a „Weltreise.“ But it was nice to find a reasonably priced hotel for an overnight. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast excellent. I know where to stay for my next overnight in Bayreuth.
Given the price I was paying for the room (Festspiel prices) I was expecting it to be perfect. Fortunately it was. The hotel acceded to all the requests I made in advance and allocated me a quiet room at the back of the hotel with a view over the garden. The bar, breakfast room and patio were all pleasant with nice food. The free coach transport to and from the Festspielhaus was very welcome (although standard practice for the main hotels in Bayreuth). Air conditioning you could switch off at night, so no noise from fans or electrics.
1. Staff was professional and efficient, provided clear communication about hotel rules and policies.
2. Location was great, walking distance to the center of town where one finds plenty of restaurants and also shopping in case you forgot your dress shoes or a tie to attend the opera festival (discount store style shopping).
3. Room was spotless.
4. Room had air conditioning, very necessary for the summer and it was a relatively quiet unit.
The apartment has a unique style, which was even nicer than the photos portray. The location is perfect for a short walk into Bayreuth, a supermarket is nearby (walking distance) and it's quiet. It was very well equipped in the kitchen and offered
a washing machine, too. It even had a smallish but pleasant balcony from which we could watch the sunset.
Breakfast was excellent. The buffet was always adequately refilled. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was not large, but efficient use of all available space made it seem larger than it was. The clear marking of hardware in the bathroom precluded nasty surprises (icy or scalding showers)—unique in hotels in my experience.
This was our third stay at the Arvena Kongress for the Bayreuth Festival. We'll certainly stay here every time we're fortunate enough to get tickets for the festival. Food, transportation, location, etc. is perfect for a visit to the festival.
The lady who worked there on Saturday evening. I asked her for a mug of hot water. She was so kind as to also take the mug up to my room. She is perhaps the only normal parson I met at that hotel.
The concept of the hotel is interesting - a modern, island vibe. The staff is friendly and informative. Those travelling by train will love the location, it's right next door.
This is a delightfully old fashioned hotel in the centre of Bayreuth. The list of former guests is impressive. The hotel restaurant serves exceptionally good meals!
Wonderful host who following a very small inconvenience left some local beer. Very thoughtful.
The hotel has been carefully restored to a very high standard
