Room was comfy and clean, check-in and check-out were fast and uncomplicated. The staff were really helpful when we needed to order taxis (which proved quite tricky due to limited taxi availability in the area). The location was nice and the bar and terrace had pleasant views overlooking the lake. The path to walk around the lake was right outside the hotel entrance. We didn't try the breakfast nor order any drinks but the bar area looked like it was a nice place to dine or drink.

The hotel is in a nice location and the manager was very helpfull and kindly gave us a lift to the near by music festival that we had come to see.
Unfortunately there was no wifi and there seemed to be no staff around to ask most of the time when we were at the hotel. To be fair we were using the hotel as a base sleep and shower before and after the festival each day so it wasnt so important that the fasilities were lacking but being able to contact family and friends would have been made far easier with wifi.
We went to the bank in Barmstetd to withdraw money but that was all. We ate mostly at the Head Bangers Open Air Frstival in Brande Hornerkirchen and one time at the Ring Hotel Bokel Muhle with friends which is a very good hotel.

Everything. A perfect cozy B&B. Yes its next to a church which means some authentic sounds coming in a few times, but I think it's off at night as we slept like babies :)
Beautifully restored and vintage decor. And unlike expensive hotels in London the showers work properly too ;)
