Fabulous place for a stop over. Staff helped me with my early start the next day by making up a on the go breakfast.... Brilliant! Really greatful and made such a difference to my next days travel.
Good location to have day trips to beach (e.g. at Scharbeutz) or day at Hansapark, 30-40 mins drive away. Booked as alternative to accommodation at coast (all fully booked) but we enjoyed exploring Bad Segeberg (great views from top of Kalkberg) and visiting the very interesting little Buergerhaus museum (house built in 1541) at Luebecker Strasse 15 (but we didn't have enough time there!)

The Watertower is a stunning building and they clearly made a lot of effort to make your stay high end with design features everywhere. The rooms were large, clean and just beautiful. There was a beautiful shower. Great elevator. The hotel is right next to the Karl May Festival grounds. There was handicap parking in front of the door.
It is a nice, quite, and clean hotel which is a five minute walk away from the lake. We travelled with a dog and that was no problem. Unfortunately, we did not find a free parking spot directly at the hotel, however, there was a decently sized parking lot next to the lake. Overall, it offers good value for money.
Really lovely bathroom and the most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time. A friendly welcome by the young man at reception. Room comfortable and well equipped. The mustard colour paint was a bit morose but would recommend the hotel highly
It was great that I had a room which was borderd at the terras of the Hotel. The weather was great so I could sit outside. The room and bathroom were big enough for 1 person. For 2 it's a little bit small I think.
Second time this year in apartment because they have best price in Bad Segeberg. Other apartments are much more expensive. Now we got another unit. Nice self check-in.
Vitalia is a nice hotel at a very nice location. If you stay here you should teke the time to enjoy it. Spacious rooms, friendly staff - one wants to come back.
