We only stayed for one night and did not have a lot of time to discover Andernach, but it seems like a nice town, with various historic buildings, possibility to walk along the Rhine. The restaurant the Peppermill was good, and conveniently close to the Rhein-Hotel, where we stayed.

Andernach is a suitable distance to drive from southern Germany. Do take the boat trip to see the geyser (30E for the boat ride and the museum), but go to the visitor center to get tickets. We did not know this and so missed the boat for which we were aiming.
The old town is quite picturesque and there are restaurants to suit most tastes. It even has a shopping mall (about 6 shops!).

Lovely little town, with plenty of medieval remains.
Lovely little town, with plenty of medieval remains. Unfortunately, somewhat difficult to reach if you walk along the Rheinsteig (on the other bank of the Rhine). A ferry goes there only three times per day.
Great hotel in a lovely area. Good value for money, very friendly staff who helped us take a taxi every day to the festival we were attending. Overall we loved our stay! There is no fridge or mini bar in the room but you are able to take ice from a machine behind reception and there is a fridge on the 2nd floor beside the outdoor balcony, which was awesome! They also let us into the hotel a little early when we had been travelling all day which was very much appreciated.
Hotel is situated in an idyllic little village, very peaceful and charming.
The hotel from the outside looks charming and welcoming with an off road private car park.
The rooms are very clean, fresh and modern and nice and peaceful.
The host Patrick was very knowledgeable and friendly, messaging me prior to the trip to give me tips on local restaurants and places to see.
A fantastic and charming hotel and I would highly recommend you stay there!
The room was spacious and modern furnished. The toilet was separated from the bathroom. The room was extremely clean. The balcony was facing the river , with its walking area. The location was good, Many restaurants around.
A small walk from a nice historical center. Parking in front the hotel 0,80 cents per hour, free parking from 19 hrs everyday, including Sunday and Holidays. However the parking space is small.
I found the Keller Höhe while driving through Germany and just needed a place to spend a night traveling to UK, but it was much better than expected. Patrick was very welcoming and accommodating. Tasty breakfast delivered to the room was a cherry on top. Highly recommend, and I wish I could have stayed longer to explore the beautiful surrounding area.
We cycled into Andernach late afternoon and the owners were waiting and very helpful for check in and storing our bikes. He invited us for a welcome beer in the adjacent pub/ restaurant. We chatted with him and another guest about the area and cycle routes. It is a clean, cozy and comfortable room. We were very pleased!

Cute hotel in Andernach. Has a garage for bicycle parking. Nice breakfast. Offers a list of recommendations -- be sure to eat at Damaskus Syrian restaurant a short walk away. Along the old city wall and not the Rhine, but an easy walk to it.
Great hotel in a nice location. My flight was delayed but I was still able to access the property late at night with clear instructions. The room was extremely comfortable and the staff were really nice. Thank you for the coffee in the morning.
Helpful, friendly staff and a well-appointed room. The breakfast was great with a good selection of food items. We were a bit concerned when we found that the hotel supplied ear plugs in the room but we didn't notice any noise during our stay.
everything is great. staff is amazing, superfriendly. they also helped us to find a table for dinner (on Saturday night it was complicated). the hotel, design, atmosphere - all is perfect! it absolutely worth this money
A very warm welcome to two very wet cyclists with safe storage for our bikes.
Clean, comfortable room. Hotel in a great location for exploring the town with plenty of choices for an evening meal.
Lovely breakfast.
