Nice property in a quiet location. Salzburg is a 30min bike ride and the use of the spa was a plus.

Everything was perfect except for the bed and pillows which were not so comfortable. This is definetly something personal but this is my own opinion

Such a beautiful location, located in a small town atmosphere. Very close to some of the most beautiful parts of Germany I have ever seen. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Restaurant attached for some tasty dinner or a delectable dessert.

Ainring was recommended by a Friend, and I am glad we did listen to her, loved its small-town flavor, easy to get too, near Bad Reichenhall and Salzburg, enough restaurants to please everyone's palate.

Great Alpine lakes but choose Thumsee and other clear water...
Great Alpine lakes but choose Thumsee and other clear water ones with less vegetation. My daughter found a leach in Hoeglwoether See. Both are beautiful and the trout swimming in Thumsee are amazing to watch in the crystal clear water. Sommerrodelbahn (summer toboggan) is a blast but use the break or you will end up with bruised ribs like me or worse.
In my opinion it felt like a 4 star hotel. We actively tried to figure out why it only has 3 stars. The breakfast and food was fresh and delicious, service was good. I like when on a second day waitress already knows what drink you like to order at breakfast. I was there at the work function and we had fantastic food, service, and entertainment. The next day we went to SPA near by and I actually liked it becouse it was nice to go for a walk after breakfast to the area with outdoor pool and Spa.
The room was very comfortable and had a lovely balcony from which we had a great view of the Snow-capped Alps.
I would recommend that you take a travel kettle, teabags etc. as there were no facilities of this type in the room.
The entertainment in the hotel was very good - especially the 'Chief' playing the piano accordion. An excellent night!
Every meal was delicious with a selection to choose from each day.
Great location for a spa hotel: in the middle of nowhere, on the border to the forest. Yummy food in the restaurant (we only had dinners there), well equipped appartement. The staff was friendly and welcoming. As a farewell souvenir, we got a loaf of yummy, freshly backed bread. Will be happy to stay at this place again.
Very peaceful and calm little Village, the wellness area of the hotel is fairly well equipped and it is open until 9 pm, so you can have a long day in Salzburg or have a trip on the nearby mountains and still can enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool. Nice restaurants and beer gardens are located really close.
The room is huge and very comfortable, the terrasse with the view on the hills and Salzburg is a must. The room and bathroom were very clean. The environment of the hôtel is so lovely on top of the hill. It was excactly what we needed to rest and enjoy our stay. And a nice place to go for a walk around.
Small Gasthaus with an exceptional view. The shower was amazing, I didn‘t want to leave it. I have never seen such powerfull water pressure in any hotel. Rooms were clean, it could be little bit better (small dust flakes in bathroom)
Clean. Calm and peaceful. Very beautiful vews. The hotel is surrounded by montains and woods
Ideal for biking and treks. Safe parking. Personnel is friendly and hospitable. Breakfast is ok.
Beautiful hotel with amazing services. Breakfast was really great. Enjoyed the swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
