Location, staff were family and friendly, clean, comfortable, beds were so very nice, authentic, breakfast was delicious and dinner was too. The family run business is so hard working, this is the cleanest place with the most delicious food. We will definitely come back here to stay again.

everyone was so very friendly. and the room was so comfortable and the food was outstanding! I was doing a pilgrimage and this walking with a backpack, and needed lotion for my sunburn, and I was given a big bottle of lotion to use from the owner! This was a 5-star Gasthaus in my opinion!

Excellent location to spend some time and relax. Visited similar places before, but it was my first time here, and I really enjoyed the unique atmosphere of this very special place, in its entirety, and every particular thing in and around - Danube bend and rocky shore on the other side, near and far places to walk around, beer garden (and caffeteria inside), large parking for hotel guests, restful night sleep. Sure I'll visit it soon again.

It’s a delightful small town of around 10,000 people or so,with plenty of period buildings and a brewery from 1300.A little of the beaten track but well worth a visit for for a pint or two,in there bizarre quirky and unique beer garden.
For free unlimited parking we got information from hotel about the Gillamoosparkplatz. It was about 5 mins walk away. The hotel is of new build quality and felt very new. The room was spacious and had a superior feel, the bathroom was also large with plenty of space and well equipped. Located right in the old town meant you were well placed and walkable distance to braurei kulchenbauer and turm.
This hotel is a perfect stop for a weekend trip to Abensberg and its surroundings. Everything was extremely clean and cozy; the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food as well as eggs cooked as one wants.Hundertwasser's buildings are in a walking distance.
The personnel is friendly and I can only recommend staying there.
Everything! Amazing stay. Super friendly reception, very easy to check in, and breakfast was delicious. Had large variety and even had a non dairy option for milk (which isn’t a given but a nice add on). Also everything was very clean and simply felt like a home away from home right in the center of beautiful Abensberg.
We really liked our stay here. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The hotel was in a good location, breakfast was decent and the staff were friendly. We were glad that there was a lift. All in all, good value for money. We paid €6.90 for a parking space outside the hotel for our one night stay.
Comfy and stylish beer garden in the middle of historic Abensberg, we had a lovely evening eating great food after a busy day. The room was tailored to our needs with a good sized double (2 seperate beds put together) bed room and space for a 3rd person in the lounge.
Very atmospheric and cosy Bavarian hotel. The rooms are large, clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. The location is in the center of the village.
