We stayed only for one night, but we absolutely loved our experience in pension Cech. Clean, good location, spacious room with a little kitchen. The bathroom looks like it was renovated not a long time ago. The very cute little yard where we could have dinner without bothering our children, who wanted to stay in a room. I can totally recommend penzion Cech.

Very warm and hospitable owner and staff! Location is second to none, quiet yet a stone's throw to centre and Castle,, room large enough, matrasses and bedding 5star , bathroom 21st century, and breakfast tasty with large selection od hot and cold meals including freshly homemade cakes. Bikes kept in locked shed very convenient. Great local top quality wines in the fridge to drink.

Very nice and clean small city, Moravia is a wine oriented region and during summer season it is full of people , and there is a great bicycle infrastrcture so, wines, bicycle, friends and czech people - cant get any better :)

Valtice are called the "hearth of czech winemaking" and I cannot more than agree. So many options what to do, from walking in the vineyards, enjoying historical sites, cycling, great food and wine in the local cellars or visiting neighbouring villages - there is always thing to do.

There is so much to see in Valtice that one day was not...
There is so much to see in Valtice that one day was not enough for us. If you rush you may get it all in but it would not be enjoyable. We traveled in the off season and it was beautiful. We will return in peak season to see the gardens and enjoy all the area has to offer. Keep in mind most things close at 4:00.

Beautiful historic town with many restaurants and wineries . Lots to see and do . Castle was gorgeous, tour was just the right lenght and I esecially enjoyed the costume movie display about Marie Terezie .

Valtice is a small city with a pittoresque main square and a beautiful castle. Most of the buildings have been renovated and kept the historic style. There is a laid back atmoshhere as the town is not too touristic.
Cycle tracks are leading through vineyards to Ledice and Mikulov.
But there are also good train connections

It is not just Valtice but three cities that are close to...
It is not just Valtice but three cities that are close to each other - Valtice, Lednice and Mikulov. Beautiful castles, huge gardens, a lot to see by walking, riding bicycles or using a horse carriage. Historic sites that are marked by UNESCO as a European garden.
The hotel and it's staff are superb! Lovely location very close to the center, but not crowded or loud really makes it perfect for couples with babies. The idea of having your own "small" wine cellar right down your room is just perfect and we used that especially when lazy to go out in the evening.
I can truly recommend this hotel and already planning to come back.
The staff were super helpful and friendly.

The breakfast was excellent- plentiful and varied choices.
The hotel is in an excellent situation- away from the noise of the main square but close enough to walk into the center of town easily.

Excellent host and lovely outside area. Great communication with the host and everything was very easy. It's not in the centre of Valtice so quiet and away from the crowds, but everything in the town is quick to get to. There's no kitchen (I thought there was) but a fridge and hot pot.
Really beautiful style of decorations and general vibe. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can possibly need (3 ways to make a coffee!) and if you didn't get enough in the town during the day, you can grab a wine from a wine fridge. The bedroom was clean and spacious.
Everything; beautiful and spic-and-span clean property, comfortable beds, location close to all points of interest, caring owner, thoughtful amenities, etc. Do not miss this apartment if you are in the south Moravia!
Staff very friendly and helpful, location excellent close to the Valtice chateaux and the town square with good places to eat. The hotel very clean. Parking a bit tight, but staff made sure we had a spot.
Great decor. Comfy beds. Clean and spacious. Parking and great location. We were in the apartment and our view of the Palace was excellent. Lovely fruit. Great eggs. Good service and charming hosts.
perfect as usual - good quality rooms, free parking in front of the hotel and very good breakfast with fresh rolls and sweets, all kind of food - warm and cold dishes, fruits- nothing missing
The appartment was nice, new, spacious and we had everything we needed. Also there is a garden with swimming pool, where you can spend your time. Owner is very nice and communicative person.
Breakfast is satisfactory, although the choices are limited. The staff is friendly. Parking spaces are many. There are fruits and drinks for free during the day, excellent!
