The appearance from the outside feels somewhat like a village , but as soon as you enter the surprise is perfect. The hotel feels very luxurious and modern. Our room, 30 square meters of beauty, pleasure and indulgence. Starting with the huge and cozy bed through a great shower room equipped with quality soaps and shampoo. The dining room is beautiful and the breakfast is huge in variety in taste and quality of products.
The staff was smiling, helpful and pleasant and deserves all the compliments. We had a great time at the hotel and really didn't want to leave. Thank you very much

I love Špindl, excellent place to relax at any time of the year. Village is very cosy, lots of nice accommodations, restaurants, easy to rent the skis or bike. Excellent for hiking, skiing, biking. Of course, not comparable to big ski resorts in the Alps, but small and cosy, almost empty during the working days of the week (if it's not schools'ski vacation). It's not so high in altitude (the top is 1230m), so snow conditions need to be good in order to enjoy the slopes.

Špindlerův mlýn (the town, not talking about surroundings) is an ugly relict of 90's, and I don't see any reason why anyone should go there (Winter or Summer, doesn't matter). Go anywhere else in Krkonose, but for god's sake avoid this ugly town (unless the only thing you care about is skiing).

The city has plenty of activities for all age ranges. We went in September, so no skiing trip.
You can rent bikes, kickbikes, electric scooters, take the cable chair to the top of the mountains. There are plenty of bar and restaurants, all sorts of cuisines (saw pizza, pasta, mexican, burgers, grills, fancy and down to earth)
There are plenty of easy trails that allow for a buggy, which we took advantage of, since we visited with a 1-year old.

We really liked how dog-friendly the city is. You can walk into any restaurant with your pooch and everything will be OK. But the city is fairly small and there really isn't much to do other than eat and drink in between your hikes/rides/skiing.

Generous and tasty breakfast with hot & cold options. Location is 5 minutes walk from the supermarket and 10 minutes walk to the nearest ski lift. There is a ski bus stop right outside the front door. The village is pretty with plenty of options to eat & drink. Prices everywhere in town are very cheap in comparison to other european ski resorts. The room was spacious, warm, very clean and great valuer for money.

Enough parking place and hotel is close to ski area (10 min walk). Better to park at hotel and walk to ski/sledge/centre instead of finding parking in centre which is almost impossible. Breakfast was also nice. Definitely coming here again.
An excellent place to stay in Spindleruv Mlyn. The staff is very polite and helpful, the location is excellent. The breakfast is really good. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. The toilets and showers are clean and in good conditions. The view from the balcony was simply gorgeous. The most important is probably the positive atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I will certainly go back.

The breakfast was really nice for the price. Typical czech sausages, eggs, buns, nice bread, cereals, some fruit, sausages and cheese, juice and coffee. All you need.
