This was the best place we visited. I thought the sheep in the photo were photoshopped, but no! There really are sheep, goats and a pig. The children were delighted. The room is very clean, spacious and comfortable. And the view is something incredible. I highly recommend

One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast served at Restaurace Farma. The culinary offerings were a true delight, with a variety of fresh and flavorful dishes that tantalized my taste buds each morning. The stylish ambiance of the restaurant added to the dining experience, making each meal feel like a special occasion.
In addition to the exceptional dining options, the breathtaking views from my room were simply mesmerizing. Waking up to the sight of towering mountains and lush forests was a surreal experience that left me feeling rejuvenated and inspired.

I love Špindl, excellent place to relax at any time of the year. Village is very cosy, lots of nice accommodations, restaurants, easy to rent the skis or bike. Excellent for hiking, skiing, biking. Of course, not comparable to big ski resorts in the Alps, but small and cosy, almost empty during the working days of the week (if it's not schools'ski vacation). It's not so high in altitude (the top is 1230m), so snow conditions need to be good in order to enjoy the slopes.

Špindlerův mlýn (the town, not talking about surroundings) is an ugly relict of 90's, and I don't see any reason why anyone should go there (Winter or Summer, doesn't matter). Go anywhere else in Krkonose, but for god's sake avoid this ugly town (unless the only thing you care about is skiing).

The city has plenty of activities for all age ranges. We went in September, so no skiing trip.
You can rent bikes, kickbikes, electric scooters, take the cable chair to the top of the mountains. There are plenty of bar and restaurants, all sorts of cuisines (saw pizza, pasta, mexican, burgers, grills, fancy and down to earth)
There are plenty of easy trails that allow for a buggy, which we took advantage of, since we visited with a 1-year old.

We really liked how dog-friendly the city is. You can walk into any restaurant with your pooch and everything will be OK. But the city is fairly small and there really isn't much to do other than eat and drink in between your hikes/rides/skiing.

- The number of attractions inside the building is enormous - no way to get bored. This includes an authentic nuclear bunker, shooting range, bowling, golf and many more
- There's a skiing slope accessible directly from the hotel, so there's no need to defrost your car everyday.

Traditional old house and restaurant in the best location, right at the centre of Spindleruv Mlyn. The host was great, the room was very spacious and comfortable although old fashioned - we loved that. Especially the window - absolutely fantastic, The breakfasts were great - good coffee, plenty of food to choose from. There was a shop right next to the hotel.
Labska 1912 is a very nice accomodation to stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and have good bathrooms. Both Vrchlabí and Spindleruv Mlyn are closeby by car so you can go skiing or have a nice dinner at the restaurants. Above all, the owner is very nice and made sure we had everything we needed! We would definetely recommand this accomodation.
