Poland
We were travelling from Poland (Gdańsk) to Croatia (Rijeka). This hotel is exactly in the middle of the trip. It was perfect for us. With all the nature around and the kid's playground we could rest for the other part of the trip. Excellent and flexible customer service. We arrived at 9 am and could have breakfast which we wouldn't eat the next day as we left at 4 am in the morning. The restaurant had delicious food for a reasonable price (compared with Croatia)
We spent almost all day in the pool and in the jacuzzi.
Situated in the heart of the Moravian Karst Nature Reserve next to a former water mill, the Hotel Skalní Mlýn offers you en-suite rooms, regional cuisine and a large summer terrace.

Nicely located if you want to visit Czech Karst. The room is quite spacey, as well as bathroom. Fridge, kettle, TV is in place. Old but working equipment - there are even Soviet-era forks and spoons.
Quietly set in the Moravský Kras Natural Reserve, 200 metres from the Balcarka Cave, Penzion u Balcarky offers free WiFi, a garden with a terrace and barbecue facilities, and free private parking.

The location is perferct to visit the punkva cave, around 15 min by car

The location of the house was quite near to Punkva caves. But its very far away from BRNO city. We found it a bit difficult to reach there, The hosts was very friendly and made reservations for the Punkva caves
This 3-star guesthouse is located at the entrance to the Moravian Karst Nature Reserve, 5 km from Macocha Gorge and Punkva Cave. Free Wi-Fi is available in Pension Karst Blansko’s rooms.
Hospitality however is not their strength. The men working at the hotel don’t bother look at you, they don’t give tourist information (or not complete, such as that you can’t visit the caves with little children), and are just not good at hosting.
Childfriendly should be the quality of the hotel; and yes there is a playcorner, but it isn’t open every day. And for the babybed you have to pay extra, something they forgot to tell (also for the sauna, which costs a fortune). The bill was full of extra costs.
It was not at all what we expected and we will advise you not to go to hotel stara skola!
