The location and the hotel are very picturesque and is also ideal for solo travellers. Asked for a room at the top floor and the stuff were very polite and cooperative.

The hotel is rated 4 star and I would say it is getting the 4 star on facilities . It is very tired and in need of serious maintenance and upliftment . In its heyday of 1950 it probably was fantastic . Compared to other 4 star hotels it is falling behind standards. But it has a wonderful location

Platres is a lovely moiuntain village with a good mix of restaurants, bars and relaxtion points, Great for starting mountain walks or just kicking back in the village,
We would also highly recommend the chocolate workshop experience at Cyprus Chocolates. Educational and informative with a passionate host in Eugene.
You get to try all different kinds of chocolates and there's no obligation to buy. Though I'm defy anyone to leave without picking up a little treat. :)

Deep woods. Very cool temperature - chilly at night.
Deep woods. Very cool temperature - chilly at night. Nightingales in May-June. Small waterfalls, very nice walks through the woods. Lavender activities. Beautiful early XXth century architecture, typical only in Platres. Red bricks, turrets and pinnacles. Nice tavernas. Nice small kids playground in the village centre. Perfect for a quiet, cosy trip.

Having a terrace overlooking the mountain , in the center of Platres but very quiet as well was a real blessing. The host mr Polydoros , was very nice , friendly and checking out if we needed something else. It was Cyprus hospitality at its best.
Hotel is in a lovely renovated old building with character. It is in a beautiful location in Platres for Troodos holiday. Room was comfortable and warm despite the cool weather. Staff was friendly and very accomodating. Breakfast was excellent and the coffee served best we had in Cyprus. Also the dinners we had in the hotel’s Kings and Poets restaurant were fantastic. True hidden gem and we felt really spoiled with private service as we were the only customers in the hotel at the time of our visit.
We spent a weekend at Platres. We met Stefanos at the hotel. He is a very nice, helpful and friendly person. The value of money spent is worth it because we enjoy our stay very much.
Clean and big rooms. Taste dinner and breakfast. At Kallithea INN, u can find all that u need. Is not fancy, but you feel like home
The hotel retains its historic charm. The way the hotel is designed - its a magical experience especially for couples. The restaurant in the hotel is a must try and its veg friendly too! My wife and I stayed here for two nights and we still can't get over the experience of Trodos mountains and Petit Palais Hotel!
The family that owned the inn was excellent. They were all so kind. I loved the breakfast and the location. My room was perfect. This was a safe place for solo female travelers. And there was close access to public transportation, as I did not rent a car while in Cyprus. Great hiking nearby.
One of the most beautiful mountain location that I have been in Cyprus. The surrounding area is just beautiful.
Great place to go with kids, as there is so much outdoor space where they can play.
The house has all the facilities you can need.
Very kind host. We will definitely go again.
This elegant hotel is at the top of a hill and has lovely rooms and charming lounges. Breathing in the fresh mountain air standing on our balcony was delightful. The staff couldn’t be nicer and seeing and chatting with the owner was memorable.
Everything was very nice! And the house was clean!
The only one thing - the road is very curvy as in Platres and there is a mountain high up road exactly to the house. If you have jeep - happy you! I was really afraid about it.
We liked the old fashioned ambiance , the staff service levels and the location in Platres/Troodos mountains.
The breakfast is good , wifi excellent and staff very attentive , especially reception and on the verandah .
The accommodation meets my expectations. The service ist perfect. Every time you had some small problem in the accommodation, it was quickly fixed.
The location is perfect if you want to visit the Cyprus mountains.
Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Large traditional house with period furniture, featuring a bath (good for a long soak after a hard walk). Quiet location but quite close to the centre of Platres.
One of the very few hotels in Cyprus, Platres especially, that allow pets.
We also liked the fact that there was hot water any time during the day or night, as well as high water pressure in the shower.
The location is great, in the center of Platres with beautiful views from the room which is of very high quality. The service was excellent, I would definitely come again.
Very cozy and clean apartment in the heart of Pano Platres! Everything was perfect! Polys was very helpful and the whole stay was pleasant and smooth! Highly recommended!
A dream house in the mountains and the perfect view. We loved the location and bed was so comfy felt like a very nice hotel bed. We will definitely come back.
One of the best hotels I've ever been in this category. Everything was perfect, even the small candies they left at night before we came back from dinner.
