I absolutely loved the layout! You feel like you are staying in a villa, each room is positioned on different levels of the stairs. 3 pools! Each with a different vibe, one for social gatherings and a volleyball net, one for a more zen pool time with the occasional monkey/iguana visit, and one that is central to the private rooms. A rooftop terrace overlooking the jungle was a unique and perfect for social spaces to get to know people. The restaurant and bar are easily accessible, delicious food and great servers! The rooms are cleaned once a day which is refreshing after long days at the beach when you are covered in sand. Selina hosted a different activity every night that was welcoming, inclusive and tons of fun for everyone who joined! The staff were very approachable and very helpful! I recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Manuel Antonio! It gives you the opportunity to branch out and meet new people every day as a solo traveller!

Beautiful national park and the amenities in the surrounding...
Beautiful national park and the amenities in the surrounding town are plenty. It was easy to walk around, although take notice of the traffic on the main road. It got pretty busy and fast sometimes. We stayed near our resort for meals within walking distance- El Wagon was a good family spot for dinner's not spent at our resort. We had an excellent lunch and cup of coffee at Emelio's Café. The town has plenty of grocery stores for any daily needs.
We only tried two beaches. Playa Bisanz had tricky parking and the guys watching cars honestly looked a bit sus. We did not stay there for long. Playa Manuel Antonio was absolutely beautiful. The park fee/ reservations keep it low key and it's well worth the visit and admission fee. The water was warm and the beach clean. Watch your belongings as the capuchin monkeys that bounce around are more than happy to raid your bag, as we witnessed happening to one of our fellow beachgoers.
If you're driving yourself to the park, take notice of the official parking. The locals are harmless but a bit aggressive with trying to get you to park in their lots so they can charge you. We got forced into a lot by a gentleman jumping into the road, then kicked out when we told them we didn't want a guided tour with them. We laughed it off, as we could have easily just driven around him. If you book your adventures with a company, they all offer transpiration.
That said, a guided tour with a reputable company (We did Jade Tours) for the national park is a must. We saw WAAAAY more than we would have on our own, including a sloth fight. Well worth the fee.
We also did a kayak/mangrove tour with Narcacosta and a guided horseback/waterfall tour with Brisas del Nara- I cannot say enough good things about either one of these organizations. Top tier experience, knowledgeable guides, and beautiful facilities.

I forgot to mention before about the assistance I got from the customer service representative ELISABETH. She helped me since the very begin of my reservation to the very end with great knowledge, efficiency and patience. I am I little challenged with the internet but she was right there for me, did not matter the time. We are all lucky for having her.

Good beaches.
Good beaches. Espadilla, even when crowded, is large enough that you can walk a little and get a fairly empty beach if you prefer. A car is a must-have if you plan to explore the town, but you're not missing much if you stay in a resort with beach and jungle access the whole time. The most expensive restaurants are good, all others are nothing special and just okay to not be hungry. You'll get better treatment as a foreigner because people expect tips, so definitely take advantage of that if you are one.

Mid-February is very hot and humid for this area - 90 degrees Fahrenheit everyday. We really enjoyed visiting the park and seeing rainforest wildlife, swimming at the beaches (watch out for strong rip tides!), and familiarizing ourselves with an area we had never been to before. Be ready to pay tourist prices (you are in a high tourism area - and it is so for a good reason), but if you can get an apartment with a kitchen, visiting the Quepos farmer's market and being able to make some of your own meals make this area more affordable. Glen's on the beach has the best chairs and his whole family is so kind and helpful. Going into the park for the first time with a guide is highly recommended, but so is going a second time on your own at your own pace. Get there first thing in the morning, because it heats up and gets busy after 9 AM. Eat at the Falafel Bar, like everyone says, because it is delicious (the smoothies are really refreshing). The public busy is easy to navigate, so use it and explore! Favorite activity in the area, other than the national park, was by far the Night Damas Mangrove Tour with Iguana Tours. Explore and have fun!

The room and bathroom was large and balcony overlooked the jungle, monkeys and birds came to the balcony everyday
The area is so lush with beautiful flowers and trees. The beach area and ocean was really nice. The way down to the beach was easily accessible, the path down has ropes on both sides to help.
Swimming pool was lovely surrounded by tables and umbrellas could have meals there if chosen. Excursions easily booked by agents and very informative.
This property has a gorgeous view on a hilltop and is right at the edge of Manuel Antonio national Park. There are howler monkeys and capuchin monkeys hanging out nearby as well as large iguanas. The pool is beautiful and overlooks the ocean. The open air restaurant is outstanding with great service and food. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and it is just a short walk to the beach. It was a joy to stay here. The rooms are tiny and exactly what you would expect from a container converted into a hotel. Very cute idea.
The staff was very helpful. There is a nice, reasonably priced restaurant on site. The pool was nice with a shallow part that worked well for the 2 small children that we brought. They allowed us to keep our car there when we went to MA Park for our tour. The hotel is a short walk to Manuel Antonio Park, as well as many restaurants, and Espadilla beach. Even though it was in the midst of all this activity the rooms were quiet.
Perfect location - easy walking distance for visiting Manuel Antonio park or the beach.
Room was comfortable, with a great big bed, and breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed happy hour at the bar by the pool and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Other local restaurants are also within easy walking distance.
Staff in the hotel were very helpful in arranging local tours and recommendations, keeping in touch via whattsapp.
This place is incredible. Great rooms, friendly-staff, wonderful breakfast. Sloths and monkeys play on the trees right outside your balcony. Good pools for kids and adults. The restaurant is very good, and their is a path that walks down to a beautiful beach. One of my favorites hotels in a long time. Only ten minutes to Manuel Antonio National Park. Great for families, but it would be a good romantic places as well.
We got 1 room and 1 apartment. The room was very nice, big and spacious. The apartment was ok, not big but comfortable enough. everything was clean and the staff was very nice and helpfull. The location was good, not far from the bus, the beach and Manuel Antonio park. The price was very reasnoble (in Costa Rica standarts) and altogether we had a good experience
This was our first time to Costa Rica and we were so pleased that our first stay was at the Jungle Beach Hotel. Our room was simple and was comfortable, clean and had AC. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn’t use the pool as the beach was less than 10 minutes walk. The fried rice at the restaurant was delicious. A good start to our trip!
Friendly staff. Great little hotel on walking distance (aprox. 800 m) from entrance gate national park Manuel Antonio. Cross the main road, walk 2 min and you'll find a lovely beach with rental chairs and a bar/restaurant. Busstop in front of the hotel makes Quepos easily accessible. Every morning and late afternoon monkeys visit the pool area :-)
Great breakfast with view in the jungle/garden where I was able to see scarlet macaws, toucans, monkeys, turtles and a variety of birds....great location.....I have seen more nature there than in my whole travel in costa rica...literally, you don't have to go to manuel antonio park if you stay there, as you will see more animals....
View, location very close to Manuel Antonio Park and to the very nice Beisanz beach with great snorkelling. Shuttle service for Manuel Antonio Town and park. Nice breakfast. Kind and supportive staff. Spacious room and comfortable beds. In short, everything you would expect from this kind of place and for the price you pay.
Very friendly staff which is not always like this in Costa Rica. Just good people, not faked friendliness. Great location, a few steps from the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park and the beach. Simple but very good breakfast with many options. You don’t need your car, like usually in Manuel Antonio.
The location couldn’t be better! It was right on the beach and a short distance from Manuel Antonio National Park. The restaurant had excellent food, but they had wet paint on a bench and no sign. My kids and their friend sat on it and they all got white paint on their clothes :(
Best location for Manuel Antonio Park; close to beach; excellent bus connections to Quepos and other places (direct bus to San Jose - buy ticket in advance in Quepos). Good food choices. Super friendly staff at hostel and attached restaurant.
The facilities are clean and simple!
The breakfast was pretty good & the staff were nice.
The location is right next to Manuel Antonio and has its own car park which is great. We went to the beach inside the park at 7am and it was pristine. Wouldn't recommend the hotel beach if you don't like it busy.
The hotel is located on the beach and very close to the entrance of the park Manuel Antonio.
Nice the option to have beach towel included.
Good wifi.
Parking for free included.
There is air conditioning.
The restaurant close by has good food.
This hotel had the best location! It was literally at the end of the road, on the beach and next to the National Park. The staff was friendly and the hotel was comfortable. I loved the balcony!
The pools were very nice, well located in the Main Street, close to the bus stop, just 10 min bus ride from the beach or the Manuel Antonio National Park. Big hotel, nice for families.
