Stay and Dive, hotel in Cuajiniquil

Located within 6.2 mi of Parque Nacional Santa Rosa in Cuajiniquil, Stay and Dove offers accommodations with seating area and flat-screen TV.

Proximity to beaches, basic little pool, little lizards everywhere, weird and neat bugs to look at. The people who looked after the grounds and checked us in were super nice, (didn't speak a lick of English, so brush up on your Spanish) and unlocked the gate for us whenever we needed to enter or exit the facility. (Not sure why we needed a "membership card" with our names and particulars on it, since we were literally the only people staying in the compound, so that was a bit of pointless silliness designed to hype the place up.) If the place were $35/night/person, that would have been okay. But $280 for 3 people for 2 days for what we got was an exceptionally poor value. We stayed in considerably nicer places with significantly better amenities and views for $22 - $35 per person per night.

Bay Villas, hotel in Cuajiniquil

Bay Villas is located in El Jobo, just a 18-minute walk from Coco Beach and 1.3 miles from Bolaños Beach. With pool views, this accommodation provides a patio.

Beautiful villa we stayed at while attending a wedding at the Dreams Las Mareas resort. The villa is literally across the street from the resort, however note the villa is located up a steep hill so difficult to walk. The villa looks out onto the ocean and it felt very secluded and private. The villa is part of the Costa Elena properties and they have their own private beach club - we didn't use it much while we were there but it looked beautiful. Our favourite part of our stay was having access to the conceirge service. Juan was always immediately available via What's App and he was able to help us with a variety of requests - e.g. order pizza, arrange transportation to/from the resort for the wedding (due to the steep hill we didn't want to walk in formal attire), and arrange an amazing dinner with a private chef on our last night. I would HIGHLY recommend the private chef experience. They provide sample menus and you can choose what you'd like. The chef and his assistant arrived at our villa 4 hours prior to dinner time with all of the fresh ingredients and cooked everything from scratch in our kitchen. The aromas while they were cooking were delicious! The chef was able to accommodate several different dietary restrictions (e.g. nut allergy, vegetarian). We had a full dinner with many different appetizers, lobster, steak and fish for mains, and dessert. The portions were generous and we had tons of leftovers which we ate for breakfast the next morning. This was definitely the highlight of our trip!

Cozy Sudio#1, 5min Beach & 1 hour Liberia Int ARPTO, hotel in Cuajiniquil

Offering a garden, Cozy Sudio#1, 5min Beach & 1 hour Liberia Int ARPTO provides accommodations in La Cruz. This apartment offers accommodations with a balcony.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was nicely decorated and had nice touches like shampoo and tea, hot water and a mini-fridge. The location is great, right across from the main park, several places to eat, and a supermarket, close to the Mirador scenic view and one block from the road that goes down to several amazing beaches. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We loved this place and felt at home there.

We visited for the birds, so it was perfect.

We visited for the birds, so it was perfect. We were close to Santa Rosa NP. We had a nice meal in the village at Restaurante Arrecife and there's a good supermarket there. Make sure you let Louisa know if you need to cook, as some rooms have no kitchen. The area seems to be good for fishing and nature - there are a couple of beaches, but you need to either pay or have a 4x4.
