The Guesthouse is managed by husband and wife. They are both nice and helpful. They let me use the kitchen to prepare a fresh soup for my little baby and I apreciated it. The location is perfect to visit the city. You can walk 5 minutes to get to a close furnished supermarket and a 7up shop, also many restaurants around and temples to visit (you can buy a unique tiket to visit the 21 temples of Pingyao Ancient City). They speak quite good english (expecially the wife) so there is a good communication. Finally, there is a good quality/price service.

The cleanliness and service at the hostel were impeccable. Every area was maintained spotlessly. The staff were warm and always eager to assist, making us feel truly welcomed. The staffs were absolutely amazing. One of the best services I have seen so far. The hotel offers free minibar for guests and breakfast is on ala carte basis and food quality is top notch. The hotel is located in ancient Pingyao city (no car zone). Taxi would have to drop guests off at main road which is few minutes walk to the hotel. I would recommend guests to take up pick up and drop off services offered by the hotel as all streets in Pingyao looks the same (like maze) and it's relatively easy to get lost while trying to find the hotel on your own.

The owner, he was very helpfull with everything. He tried his best to speak English and helped with the places to go. Also, I had an early check-out, but made sure I had breakfast. Finally he took a scooter so he could take me to the gate voor a taxi.

Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi. The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips. We enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days in Pingyao a lot, definitely recommended.
