The Hotel Franziskaner is housed in a charming historical building in the Old Town of Chur. The famous Churer Obertor is 50 metres away, and the train station can be reached on foot in 8 minutes.

Excellent location in the middle of the beautiful old town, a short walk from the railway station.
Breakfast was good (better than I expected).
Reception was supposed to close at 10 p.m. but as I sent a message and informed the reception that our train is late and we'll arrive a little after ten o'clock, they responded that they'll wait and the reception will be open till then. Everything worked just fine and smooth.
We had a room facing the backyard, so it was quiet. The only noise was made by some other travellers getting into their rooms later in the night.
The day of the departure we were able to leave our luggages to the store room until heading for the train station again.
Could stay here again if coming back to Chur one day.
