If walking to Tasch to catch the train to Zermatt with your own skis and boots it is quite a way especially when coming home after skiing at night.

It was very nice, but we didn't spend much time there.
It was very nice, but we didn't spend much time there. Our main goal was to get to Zermatt and see the Matterhorn which was fogged in 30 years ago when we last visited. The train station was very nice and clean. It was easy to purchase the tickets on the machines provided.

Tasch is the car parking and coach drop point for Zermatt, has a couple of nice restaurants slightly cheaper than Zermatt.
Has a train station coffee and convenience store.. As well as a couple of small supermarkets, though Zermatt's Co-op is better.
Good place to stay at the camp-site or a short stay into Zermatt,

I have looked at some of the other reviews and they all said that it was good, especially as the parking was included. I will say that this was not the case for us. When we arrived, we parked our car in a slot outside, there was a man there who told us that the parking would be 8 FSF per night. Then we tried to go into the building, the 1st difficult for me, was there were 5/6 stairs to get to the level where the entrance to the hotel was, then no one at receptionist, we were on the time that we stated that we would arrive., only then to find we had to go somewhere else for the keys. Unacceptable,
When we finally got in, the room was big, clean and a good balcony , this part was fine.

Tasch is a small village near Zermatt that is such a great place to stay. An accessible place with everything you need without having to stay in the thick of things (like Zermatt). Very peaceful.
1. Easily accessible by train with them coming and going every 20mins all day. There is a machine or you can go to the window and get human assistance buying tickets.
2. 2 very decent grocery stores as well as a few restaurants.
3. People are friendly and helpful
4. Small village so everything is within a 5-10min walk.
5. View and weather are lovely.
6. Sidewalk/trail runs parallel to the stream and you can walk to the next town easily.

Easy access to trains to visit Zermatt.
Easy access to trains to visit Zermatt. Zermatt is just one stop away from Tasch and we can grab our tickets at Tasch station.
Zermatt is a place where there are wide variety of restaurants with warm people.
Tasch is a beautiful place in itself and there are lots of walking trails which we can experience along the river streams and mountain views.
Spectacular views on the way to the accommodation, you can really appreciate and take in the natural beauty of Switzerland.
Easy check in and quick responses from the host about any inquiries as well as the reception, when they're not in. I came slightly later than the latest check in time but with prior notice, the receptionist waited patiently for me.
cosy and super tidy studio with a lovely balcony overlooking the beautiful valley and täsch station, which is around a ten minute walk to get to.
This was the perfect hotel for us in Tasch, as we had a car and needed good, safe parking onsite. The room was a bit small, but everything else was perfect. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly, and the view of the mountains from our room was lovely. Bonus: Room was quite soundproof, as the hotel is across the street from the train station (which is very convenient) and reviews of other lodgings in the area mention noise, so we were worried. No problem here.
Breakfast was good. The location is in Tasch which is about a 12 minute train ride from the ski resport so be aware of that. The room and bathroom were quite small, but the value overall was good. The spa and wellness area was completely closed for the season, which was disappointing. The staff was wonderful and always helpful. Check-in and out were super fast and easy, and the staff was always available to help with any of my dumb questions. Thank you!
Very clean rooms and facilities. Convenient stop to Zermatt, as the town is vehicle prohibited, easily make a stop at Tasch and carry on your journey. Despite its unremarkable look, the shower-head provides sufficient water pressure good enough to wash away your whole day tiredness. Very lovely place, will come back if ever have a chance visit Matterhorn.
It was just 3mins walk from station. The view from hotel room was majestic and we can see the mountains covered with snow. The hotel have a bathtub and toilet was very spacious. The breakfast was also very delicious and have a lot of choices. They also provide coach to Zermatt for 6CHF per person for whoever don’t want to take a train to there.
Beautifully presented modern and clean apartment. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable and cosey. The apartment was across the road from the train station which was perfect for us. We would definitely stay again if were in the Täsch area again as it is less crowded than Zermatt but only 15 minutes from it!
The location is exactly near the Tasch Train Station, the beds were very confirtable, the room had a bathtub instead of shower cabine which was a good point in my book cause I like taking baths instead of showers. The spa area was also very good. I stayed 2 hours in the Jacuzzi in the day I was not going to ski.
Very good location near Tasch train station and easy access to Zermatt. Very large apartment suitable for 8 people with excellent furnished kitchen and living rooms. Almost everything is perfect. Most importantly, the price is affordable especially for a place near the world-famous Zermatt.
Location is next to Tasch Train station, Good for Senior and Kid when travelling with big luggage. Easy to access to Zermatt by train which leaving in every 15 minutes. Bed is comfortable and view is excellent. Breakfast are variety. Dinner is good at restaurant.
We had a lovely time staying for the weekend. The property is well equiped, very comfortable and in a convenient location. The deck has a beautiful view on the mountains. We highly recommend to stay at the petit paradisli when visiting Täsch or Zermatt.
