The host was super helpful providing all info, accommodating our requests and giving good tips. The location is out of the world with best mountain and lake views. The restaurant was also very good, with a very friendly/family atmosphere in the evening. It just made our short stay memorable. Even the people from the village were very friendly.

I don't normally write reviews. My husband chose this hotel based on a few "good" reviews he saw on booking.com - we later realized these reviews were not from Americans, thus my review.
This hotel is in a gorgeous location, which is its saving grace. Upon check-in I was greeted by a friendly man who spoke good English. We lugged our stuff up to our family room, to find out we were in the attic, with no air conditioning. Although we didn't have a lake view, we were overlooking a hilly pasture with cows, who had on cowbells. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony, watching the sunset, and listening to their happy little bells.
We stayed here in late June and the room was warm. Outside temps were in the mid 70's and the room was probably 76. We were able to open the door to the balcony (the window was broken and missing a handle) and set the fan in the door. Fortunately, the room cooled down a bit and we slept ok-ish. I woke up sweaty a few times. I would not stay here during the summer when the temps are hotter, the room would be sweltering.
The room itself is nice, it was clean, had new, good beds, nice duvets, a flatscreen TV stuck in the corner, a standard bathroom with shampoo, soap, and body wash, two free waters, and a blow dryer mounted to the wall. This would be a decent choice at any time besides summer due to the lack of AC.

We stayed at Niederbauen room, and has a stunning view of the mountain and lake. The room is very spacious and clean, there is a balcony, sofa, and a spa bath. The pillow was too soft for me, but they have a pillow & duvet menu (yes, you read it right - PILLOW AND DUVET Menu!!), so you can request which pillow you preferred.
Staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good. Highly recommend this accommodation!

The attention to detail starting from the check-in procedure (we requested a late check-in and it was accommodated gracefully), to the overall design of the room (somewhat austere but fully equipped) and the exceptional and healthy breakfast (meat selection is restricted but otherwise great range and enough protein sources). The view from the hotel was amazing in all directions. Spotlessly clean, and taking steps towards eco-friendly tourism. Our double room had an extra-spacious bathroom.
Perfect place! It´s a very calm place and you will experience the real contact with the nature. In this region, you will have a lot of places to visit, or just to take a seat and enjoy the view of the lake.
Very clean and tidy, had all the essentials we needed and was really pleased that a Swiss plug adapter had been left for us to use as I did not realise that I would need one which was different to the other countries in Europe that I have visited. We had originally booked for the hotel next door which was much more expensive and did not have 24 hr check in and because our flight was very late and delayed, I’m really pleased we changed. Beautiful scenery.
Hotel is located almost on the hill at the edge of the lake. Stuff is very nice and helpful. Restaurant has amazing view of the lake and mountains. Near to the hotel by few minutes walk you can find amazing spots with great views for taking pictures. There is also small supermarket by 15 minutes by walk in the other village.
Hotel is in beautiful location with a wonderful view. Area is quiet and peaceful. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I can honestly recommend this place.
