The stay was perfect to us, amazing host, absolutely perfect and huge meals, owners always friendly and willing to help and advise. We went hiking around, took a look to the Mattmark Dam and went hiking around Matterhorn for one day. The hotel was accesible by car (end of September). By the time we went the house was partly under construction so it will be even nicer by now.

Saas-Almagell a quiet village a short bus ride from Sass Fee. It was nice to be away from the noise and crowds of Sass Fee. The scenery in the Sass valley is amazing. I'm definitely going to come back in the spring to do some hiking.

I stayed here with my family so we could go skiing in Saas Fee and a bit in Saas Almagel. It is a lovely guest house and the owner was really friendly and helpful. She was really kind to our two children and they both said they would like to go back. We ate both nights of our stay in restaurant and the food was good both in terms of value and quality The guest house is about 500m from the bus to take you to Saas Fee or to the other ski stations in the valley and we hope we will be able to return one day.
Very friendly staff, very comfortable room, nice restaurant with great dishes and wines, fantastic breakfast, wide range of spa facilities (indoor pool, indoor/outdoor jacuzzi, sauna, etc), game room (bowling, pool, flipper, etc), wonderful location in the mountains 10 minutes away from Saas-Fee. We loved hotel Alpenhof the first time, so there was no doubt coming back here. We occupied room 304 this time. It’s a nice spatious room with big windows and a wonderful view, newly installed bathroom and a big balcony. The personell is still the same: friendly and capable. Breakfast choice was complete and great.
There was a little doubt whether I should give this place a 10, because not often a hotel gets to feel so familiar.
Very attentive staff, helpful and welcoming. Great sauna/hammam/jacuzzi area/rest area, to relax after ski day, clean and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent with staff preparing eggs done upon demand, fresh food, variety and local products. Room and hotel were clean and super quiet, great to relax. Conveniently located next to Saas Almagell Dorfplatz bus stop (to get to Saas Fee).
Very nice and helpful hotel owners. The lady who provided breakfast was also very spontaneous, open and helpful.
Nice room, quiet and clean. Bed and shower are good! Bedmatras was a little to soft for me .. so I turned it around and it was oke!
Nice breakfast (08.00-10 00)
Great that you can go with the bus for free ( with Saastal card).
Nice flat on the ground floor, well renovated, practical for a family with two children. We stayed for two nights and did not miss anything. Everything was clean and in good shape. The immediate surroundings are nothing special, but the ski bus is 300 yards away. A nice feature was ski storage room with ski boot heating.
This was my second time staying here and I chose it again on purpose. It is in an excellent location for skiing at Saas-Fee or Saas-Almagell. Everything is close by - we never needed to use the car the entire time. The temperature inside was always perfect. Breakfast was included and so was a pass for the bus.
The chalet was magical like a fairy tail with an absolutely stunning rustic fireplace and an upstairs bedroom perfect for young children to play and enjoy watching the stars from the Heidi window with Incredible views across the valley, it was an adventure and a perfect family ski vacation.
Excellent personel from the hotel, , awaiting at door step greeting us on arrival in the freezing cold weather at 7 pm in the night..truly appreciate all the detailed patient explanation of the facilities and excellent jacuzzi and sauna within the room, Welcome champagne on ice bucket...
Breakfast was fresh and the omlette was amazing. The reception from the owner was great and everyone was very friendly. I loved the Scottish themed restaurant that was adjoined to the hotel. Situated perfectly for my climbs of Weissmies and Lagginhorn.
Excellent location to catch the bus to go to Saas-Fee, and within walking distance to the lift at Saas-Almagell.
There was parking right in front of the hotel.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The views were amazing.
Breakfast was good.
I arrived after 16:00. The keys were at the front desk with my name but I didn't have any instructions about where the studio was ( is it not in the main hotel). Eventually, I found someone to help me.
Very comfortable location with an easy access to the ski both in Saas Almagell and in Saas Fee. Quiet, family hotel with pleasant staff. I appreciated that there was always a vegetarian dinner option.
Excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of choises and where eggs are prepared on the go. This is called a perfect service. Furthermore, there is a little Spa at the hotel.
Lovely place run even by a more lovelier family! Owner offered us a ride to Maatmark as there was no public transportation available. Will definitely stay again!!
