Enjoying a quiet yet central location, Bed Bike and Breakfast Olten is situated a 5-minute walk from the Olten Train Station and the centre, and a half-hour train ride from Zürich, Bern and Basel.

There is safe storage for bikes and a workshop with tools. There are also e-bikes which guests can use free of charge, ideal for getting in to the town (which is otherwise a 12 min walk) or generally exploring Olten. The B&B is at the end of a quiet street in a residential area.
The rooms are small (the bathroom is tiny) but everything is clean and well-organised. Each room also has outdoor seating. Wifi works well. Breakfast is self-service with a good selection to choose from, and there is an honesty bar if you fancy drinking a cold beer in the garden. Reto is friendly and helpful. I will certainly stay here if I come to Olten again. It's very good value for money and has everything I need.

The staff kindly offered two rooms to us which are adjacent to each other. We can even get through to each other's room by opening the doors from both sides. Very clean room, and nice buffet breakfast.
Beautiful small city in Switzerland. A perfect stop over city should you ever pass through it. Excellent places to eat, a beautiful river running through it and some great shopping. You have to stop by Musik & Vin and pick up some excellent bottles of wine, in particular, buy the local Swiss wines -- absolutley incredible.

Initially the town doesn’t seem anything out of the ordinary but once you discover the old town core, the medieval wooden bridge, the paths and walkways along the river, the shops, restaurants and bars, it really is quite enchanting

We stopped here for a short while because of an overnight stay during our trip to Italy. Olten surprised us with its beautiful city centre. The wooden bridge is something special. We had a delicious dinner at restaurant Orient. Lovely large portions to share.
I was a little apprehensive about the self check-in but if you follow the instructions sent by the hotel and also the machine on the reception desk, things could not have been easier. l chose an Economy Single room and it turned out to be the smallest room I've ever stayed in at this hotel but you adapt. It was kept very clean. Breakfast was adequate for a three star hotel but would liked to have seen some fruit salad. The only hot item was boiled eggs. As I was doing a lot of train travel Olten station is only 3-4 minutes walk away.
We actually did not stay at this hotel but their partner hotel Arte (5 min away by foot), so it was nice that they kind of upgraded us from 3 to 4 starts and did not charge extra for that because it was not our fault (hotel Oltnerhof was closed). Review for hotel Arte: amazing place, good facilities, modern and super comfortable furniture, great bathroom with everything you need... breakfast also has a lot of things and coffee machine is good. The ladies at the reception and at the breakfast restaurant were really nice and helpful.
I like the Room, but I didn't like the service.
It is a Hotel, but no reception after 11pm. My train was late because of rail construction at night, so noone was there to help. I got 2 different box codes, one per email and another one by phone. The Terrace said that is closed at midnight, I went up at 11:45 pm and the waiter didn't let me have drink or sit in the bar because she wanted to close. She also didn't want to receive the payment cash because she wanted to close.
The hotel is at walking distance from either the main or Hammer stations, and a bus stop is nearby. This was good as I had to travel in different locations. The staff was very nice and efficient, and sorted out my request very fast (I needed to add an extra night to my original booking). The continental breakfast was adequate and enough for starting a working day.
We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were large and well-equipped. The lady who checked us in was extremely kind in responding to our questions and making sure we got rooms near each other. The parking was located just behind the hotel. It is an easy walk into town.
The rooftop bar was incredible beautiful and the drinks were tasty we had a lovely bartender. Room was clean and spacious and breakfast was lovely. And the staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone including the cleaning crew spoke English. I definitely recommend.

Hotel is centrally located in the town. Parking was super and staff was helpful. The “app” register, check-in, open doors, and check-out was super cool. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
I was surprised how quiet my room was, since the hotel is located on a fairly busy street and not far from the train station. Location was convenient for arriving/departing via train.
