I had a room looking onto the parking lot so it was pretty quiet.
The room was quite big and very clean.
It was good to have a sauna and access to the beach.
The restaurant has good food, a little expensive if you are not accustomed to prices in this region.

The location, close to Zug train station very convenient.
Cute hotel, we were upgraded to a larger room.Theres nothing really not to like. Just book this, we did our research and you really wont get a better value room with car parking and close to the station in Zug!!

The SeminarHotel am Ägerisee enjoys a picturesque location on the shores of Lake Ägeri, 8 km from Zug. The free spa area includes a sauna, steam bath, and fitness area.
This place was not what it was advertised! It claimed to be a 2 bedroom but it was a small studio with a very low (6 feet tall) ceiling. It was so small the wardrobe was in the bathroom. The kitchen was small too. It did not have an oven and there was no faucet (water) in the kitchen. I you needed water you had to get it from the bathroom! It had a small patio which would have been lovely if it was maintained. The only redeeming factor is that the view was spectacular.

There are some cute villages around the lake.
There are some cute villages around the lake. The walking is good, if you stick to the lake it is fairly flat, but there are also hills around if you have the energy. I am sure it is just as lovely in the summer when you can swim in the lake, but even on a cold spring day it was beautiful. Not too far from Zug if you fancy doing some shopping too.
The location is beautiful, but I was most impressed by the super service I was given. My flight was delayed into Zurich and I called to say there was no way I would make it before reception closed. When I arrived super late, the hotel had kept reception open so that I could check in and when I went to breakfast they had printed a map for me to show me how to drive to my meeting later that day.
Great location, waking up with the lake view was absolutely amazing! There is a retirement home right next to it, so do except encounter with cute and chatty eldery people (definitely need to revisit with my mom). We left well rested as there is welness center right in the hotel. Loved it!
I did not have breakfast and only had a small snack for dinner because I arrived late. Therefore, I can not comment on the kitchen. The hotel is a secluded but very quiet location. My room was very functional and clean.
