This hotel has excellent parking including a garage which was great for the bike. It was easy to find. It is not close to the centre itself of Interlaken but has its own high street with restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were excellent as was the breakfast. Iseltwald is a quiet village but it is a really good base to travel to surrounding areas. The lake is extremely beautiful with the turquoise water and there are activities to do on the lake, eg, rowing, a ferry, etc. One needs a car to get around to other places of interest from Iseltwald but it is very central to get to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Schilthorn, etc.

It has a cosy cove and a quite retreat holiday with easy access with the 103 free bus shuttle into Interlaken was very helpful, leaving moist days every 30 minutes. The small shop there is adequate for essentials.
We loved kayaking on the lake and has regular ferry crossing which is an added attraction. There are a few restaurants in the area which is handy.
A great place to go to to escape the busy city for a calm and peaceful break and would highly recommend.

Iseltwald is a beautiful village near Interlaken. But little away from all attractions and need to take a bus to go to Interlaken and takes around 25 minutes. Evening last bus is around 8pm and need to plan your activities accordingly
Otherwise Iseltwald is a nice place and you get an experience of staying in a Swiss village!!!
The Italian male staff who checked us in was very welcoming! He gave us helpful information about the location and nearby attractions and fun facts of the hotel! We also got upgraded to the lake view - BREATHTAKING! If you're debating on getting the lake view, do yourself a favour and book a room with a lake view! We were able had tea on the balcony and just watched the sunrise and it's honestly one of the highlight of our trip!
We enjoyed this location as a point to explore the lake and the nearby mountains. It was clean and quiet. The main road is at a distance so the apartment is quiet and feels safe for the kids playing outside. It's a professional location with a hotel, so picking up the keys was routine. It's a few hundred metres from a great diving board and ladder into the lake and we swam a few times a day. Lovely.
Everything was perfect- location, staff, facilities, breakfast. Our room has the best view!
The staff were very nice and accomodating! They even prepared a very special breakfast for me and my husband on our last day there. I highly recommend Strandhotel, best hotel in Iseltwald! Just few steps away from the kdrama Crash Landing On You's landing stage!
