Breakfast was very basic but that’s seems to be a common theme in Switzerland. We were upgraded to a corner room, where we had amazing beautiful views. It was a lovely little hotel and will definitely be coming back again.

Super nice staff. Due to the flood in Zermatt, we are not sure if we could continue the journey, the hotel staff are very nice allowing us to store the luggage overnight so that we could decide later. Very quiet and clean place.

Perfectly located for a stay in Interlaken. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking directly outside the hotel. Excellent freshly cooked eggs available for breakfast. Unfortunately the bar is no longer available but there are plenty available nearby. Would recommend checking/requesting ground floor if mobility is an issue - lots of stairs!

It has a cosy cove and a quite retreat holiday with easy access with the 103 free bus shuttle into Interlaken was very helpful, leaving moist days every 30 minutes. The small shop there is adequate for essentials.
We loved kayaking on the lake and has regular ferry crossing which is an added attraction. There are a few restaurants in the area which is handy.
A great place to go to to escape the busy city for a calm and peaceful break and would highly recommend.

Iseltwald is a beautiful village near Interlaken. But little away from all attractions and need to take a bus to go to Interlaken and takes around 25 minutes. Evening last bus is around 8pm and need to plan your activities accordingly
Otherwise Iseltwald is a nice place and you get an experience of staying in a Swiss village!!!

Iseltwald is a small village near Interlaken (30 minutes bus ride) with the most breath-taking views. It was one of the most mesmerising and peaceful places I have ever been to. I would highly recommend everyone who plans to do things near Interlaken to visit/stay at Iseltwald.

Beautiful location. Apartment was really great. Swimming in the lake in summer is special. The hotel overlooking the lake isa just a 1 minute walk from the apartment and has great food, Great Lake views and cold beer.
Everything about the property was just awesome.
If you have the opportunity, book it!
The apartment was light and airy, with every door a glass door opening to the spacious balcony.
The furniture is tasteful and clean. The bathrooms were very good, the kitchen well equipped.
Elena was a joy to communicate with and was very flexible!

PS: you will need a car if you do stay here, this gave us tremendous flexibility.
-Location is pretty, few steps from bus stop.Overlooking the lake
-Bathroom is modern, love the shower.
-It has an option to eat in the hotel itself, we did our dinner which was excellent although the guy that served was doing agressive upselling repeatedly.
-Bed was good for sleeping & we had a quiet night
- Room has a balcony which give you a view to the lake. Hopelly no smoker as neigbour so you can sit comfortably
-Breakfast was sufficient for regular cold food options
The apartment was modern, light & spacious. It was comfortable and very well appointed. The apartment I stayed in had the most amazing panoramic views of beautiful Lake Brienz. The property enjoys what I can only describe as the best location in Iseltwald , on the lakefront and directly facing the jetty and ferry stop. The host of the property was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this property.
Just a gem!! The shared facilities were always clean, and it did not feel like you had to compete for the shared bathroom facilities, which were really good.
The kitchen was also awesome! Had everything you needed with quite a few "freebies" available.

This is a family hotel of local. One of the purpose of my trip is to experience local houses of wood, this is the right one! Very friendly family, with their lovely dog and animals. The rooms are cozy, warm, with one big kitchen of all we need, a bedroom and living room with sofa, table and TV. If you want to expericence rooms and life of local people, this is where you'll like.

6 and the size of the apartment was just perfect. She’s very helpful and has given us lots of tips of where to go. There is a convenient store next to the apartment. The lake is only a few steps away. Iseltwald has become our favorite place in Switzerland. Would definitely stay here again.
Iseltwald is naturally gorgeous, and the view was great. The host, Helen, was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and well-appointed, and there was ample bedding. The room was also sufficiently warm, given that I visited in winter.
I booked a room with mountain view with the value cost. This location (Iseltwald) is nearby a place was filmed in famous Korea “Crash Landing on You”. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend to my friends.
Great apartment in lovely location at Iseltwald. We enjoyed sitting in the garden with nice views from the property. We used the kitchen and facilities were good. The place was comfortable and we had an enjoyable stay.
Everything — the staff especially Mr Carlo of Concierge and Mr Michel of the Restaurant, spotless room with a direct view of the lake & castle, comfy beds, tasty foods at the restaurant, etc.

Probably Brienzersee (Iseltwald) is not yet crazily famous for tourists coming without their own vehicle. So this place is less explored and very very peaceful.
